Favorite course
I love this course. Just wish the bunkers were better.
Good value!
Course was in good shape considering how hot and dry it has been lately! Well worth the $30 greens fee. Played in under 4 hours, which is a little slow for a twosome, but got held up by an inconsiderate foursome for the last 6 holes. Overall an enjoyable round of golf.
TIME FOR A PRO SHOP OVERHAUL
I love seeing the reviews about the staff. It’s actually 2 people and I heard one was fired and rumor has it that the other one is close or gone. The bunkers do need lovin for sure. maybe the 2 Scrooge’s in the clubhouse too.
Need to fix restrooms
The restroom need to be fixed no door. Course is good .
Good value
The course was in pretty good condition. There were grass clippings all over the fairways but probably because they weren’t able to cut the past couple days due to rain. One complaint was that they aerated one of the fairways and failed to mention this would be an issue. Overall, great course
Waldon Ponds
Started playing here in 2016.
The course is a fun layout. Good value for the 36 dollars on a weekend.
Only downside is that it's kind of a far drive.
Golf Day
Course was in very good condition. Enjoyed the round
Always in Good Shape
The sand traps need some love and close attention.
Nice course, very good value
Walden is one of the courses in the Greater Cincinnati area that consistently provides an excellent value.
The conditions are very good.
The greens are in very good condition, great if more golfers would repair their ball marks.
Bunkers are dirt, not sand - but they play fine.
Layout is challenging and fair.
I would prefer electric golf carts over the gas carts they use, but it does not take away from the golf experience.
Beautiful Course
Beautiful course, cart staff was super polite. Other staff members were however not as welcoming. However I love this course
Tough day
I didn't play well but it was not the course it was my problem.
Course is fine.
They really need to refresh and update the buildings and cart paths.
Love the Pond
Home course...
Play here 2, 3 times a month. Super easy course with wide open fairways and solid greens. Get out here during the weekday around noon and it can be empty. Play 18 in 2 to 3 hours. Greens are quick and roll true.
Will Be Back!
I hadn’t played here for about 7 years. I forgot how great of a course it was! Very challenging, but a beautiful layout, and very well kept. Staff was excellent and the price was very reasonable through golf now. Highly recommend!
I love this course
I've been playing this course for the last 7 years and the bunkers have never had sand. This is the only down fall to this course.
Public Course with Private Ambiance
Course was in fantastic condition. I felt the Bunkers were in very good shape. Several other courses I've played this year had rock hard bunkers. The only reason I could see for low ratings from other golfers on bunkers, was the fact that a few holes appeared to have changed or moved bunkers, leaving older bunkers without sand, allowing grass to grow in them. But the working bunkers were in very good condition.
Club House appears to be historic, which is appealing, but need to work on bathrooms. Sink was backed up, Faucet dripping, which was actually useful, because hot and cold handles weren't working.
But reason for being there was Golf, and the Golf Course itself was excellent.
Public Course with Private Course Ambiance
Course is in Prestigious condition. Club house needs work, especially bathroom. Used bathroom, water backed up in the sink, and dripping out of faucet, which was kind of good because the handles for hot and cold weren't working.
But the course is the main reason for being there. And the course was Amazing. The first Sand traps I've played this year that weren't rock hard.
So with a little work on the club house, I would give All Five Star Rating!
My Go-To Golf Course
There isn't much to not like about this course. Quality for the price. The only annoying thing is that the course is very popular with leagues and the twilight rate seems to bring out every golfer in the area. Facilities are great, grass is great, I cannot stress enough how great the course is.
