Pheasant Run Golf Course

Played here for the first time with a friend of mine. We had a great time from the moment we got there. We were greeted at the clubhouse by the course manager, who was very friendly and helpful. He gave us a quick tutorial of the course as well as some upcoming events. The course overall was fun to play. The greens are in great shape and hole you approach shots well, they are slower than I am used to, but it helps if you are an aggressive putter. Pace of play was great and we finished in just over 3 hours. The little bar next door was a nice little place too. Everyone there is friendly and so accommodating, it was a pleasure to be there. I will definitely be back!!

Overall the course was fine. We’ve played here a lot this year and you can tell it’s the end of the season. Greens were worn and some hadn’t yet recovered fully from Fall plugging. But we were the only ones out at the tee-time so we made exceptional time.

Started out foggy, and even though the greens were wet, they stayed true. The course is still in great condition and we’re planning on coming back.

place used to be somewhat dumpy but we still enjoyed it Now they have a new superintendent and WOW....What a difference Grass cut perfect beautiful greens they are adding cart paths...putting down feritlizer etc........This is gonna really be a great place.......i think his name is Jeff? I've played here four times recently and I am a big fan of what they've got going lately. I saw bad reviews from years past but the new maintainence crew & course manager are doing great work. We talked during my round and I learned the greenkeeper just came from managing a country club for the past 25 years, it shows! Layout is long and relatively straight which I enjoy.

Have been here before last few times wasnt very good but doable.....I Really think they are trying to make it better....i was pleasantly surprised...Most of the greens were very nice.....They cut the fairways much better then they used to.....there was Fertilizer out there on the course..and they were watering...It was overall much better then a year ago...We enjoyed the round on a perfect day...wasnt crowded,,,,,and my friends who had never been there also enjoyed it,,,Keep up the good work....This place could really turn into something

I am trying to.play different local courses this year and thisnis one I would not recommend. The fairways were like a cow pasture, lost 4 bright green balls in the fairway. The greens were covered in goose droppings.

I played this course last year and to say the least it was in dire need of some attention. I have to say the pace of play was truly amazing and the greens were the best I’ve ever seen at this course and I played it for two years. Congratulations to the new owners for making a real attempt at bringing back a gem of a course. Thank you so

I remember playing last year and it was a little rough to say the least. The fairways, you’d lose balls and and the greens were in rough shape. This year is complete and utterly something I couldn’t imagine on this golf course. The staff was truly amazing. The golf course was in wonderful shape was really nice to come out here minus the 95° temperature we had. Thank you guys for having us. Can’t wait to come back again soon.

Greens were diseased. Cart paths difficult to find no yardage markers. Decent overall course. Has potential to be better if better maintained.

New owners bought the course about 2-3 years ago and are bringing life back to the course. Listen, it’s not in top notch condition. There’s about 3-5 greens that have some bald spots and make putting rough and some tee boxes are not level, but the fairways were all solid. I think it’s well worth the $36 to ride 18 holes. My buddies and I will be back
