About
Carved from acres of rolling countryside, The View Golf Club (formerly known as Valley View Golf Club) blends seamlessly into its surroundings. The scenic setting has led to the club being known simply as "The View" amongst locals. It has been a standby for the area's golfers for more than 55 years. The hilly terrain provides some interesting slopes throughout the golf course. The watered, fairways are generously sized, but they are lined with mature trees so they still demand a fair amount of accuracy. The medium-sized greens are undulating and vary in speed from medium to fast. The golf course has an ideal combination of challenges balanced with more forgiving features that appeals to a variety of different skill levels. Both beginners and more experienced players looking for a casual round will enjoy The View Golf Club.

Lots of improvements
Valley View looks the best I’ve ever seen it. I love the new holes on the back. Fairways are in great shape. I didn’t lose a ball , which used to be unheard of at this course. The changes are so nice!

Under Construction
There are no changes to the front nine. The back nine is has changes to #10, 11, 12 & 17. The scorecard hasn’t been updated so it is confusing. The newer greens are in poor condition. Also, the tee markers are green, white, black and orange but there are no indicators which one to use. They are building a winery on the course so you may want to wait a while to play here.

Unconventional tee box colors and Back nine needs more signs
They have made up their own color codes for the tee boxes and have no posted signs to indicate what they are supposed to be Due to the updates and construction there are 3 holes that are mixed up. Hole 15 is labeled as a par 3 and because you are teeing off up hill you don't realize the hole is double what is listed on the card. The course is beautiful and fun to play but for someone who is new to the course or like myself has not been there in a couple years it is confusing. Still will definitely play again

Course is great! Mix of challenges. Back nine has some redesigned holes which gets a bit confusing without updated score cards. ( Also, and I know it isn't the fault of The View, my Garmin watch got completely baffled on back nine.) Really like this place and will return very often.

Under a lot of construction.
I would not recommend this course right now because it is under a lot of construction….They are changing the layout a lot on the back 9…I feel like it will be fine when this work is completed.

Good Value
Good course for what you play! Greens are very hard and bounce like you hit concrete when you approach the green so land the ball short and let it run up. Greens roll well! The renovations on the back 9 are coming together well.
