About
Carved from acres of rolling countryside, The View Golf Club (formerly known as Valley View Golf Club) blends seamlessly into its surroundings. The scenic setting has led to the club being known simply as "The View" amongst locals. It has been a standby for the area's golfers for more than 55 years. The hilly terrain provides some interesting slopes throughout the golf course. The watered, fairways are generously sized, but they are lined with mature trees so they still demand a fair amount of accuracy. The medium-sized greens are undulating and vary in speed from medium to fast. The golf course has an ideal combination of challenges balanced with more forgiving features that appeals to a variety of different skill levels. Both beginners and more experienced players looking for a casual round will enjoy The View Golf Club.

Golf nut
Coarse was in good condition except the greens were very hard could not hold the greens ball bounced high into the air every time we hit the greens.
Good course for the price.
I’m a beginner golfer and I had fun playing this course with my three friends. It’s fun and easy enough for newer players. Staff let me borrow clubs for the round for free because I forgot mine.
Great course with huge potential
Play 9 holes the other day. Great course layout. Wasnt so busy that you had to rush your pace. Really enjoyed being able to practice, refine skills and mechanics which allowed me to enjoy and appreciate the game. You dont get that most courses because the hoards of people that golf bow a days. Course is still constructing the landscape and will only keep getting better. Futre 5 star course im certain.

Good course with bright future!
Valley View is under new ownership and has made remarkable improvements not only to the course but clubhouse, roadways, etc. Changing the course design to include a winery that’s currently being built shows the amount of love and money invested into it. The owners are super friendly as well as the head pro Chris and the rest of the staff. The front 9 is kind of old school back and forth holes (which they plan to redesign) the back is more spread apart and a bit more challenging. When the newly redesigned holes (11,12,16,17,18) are open for play VV will be dramatically better with 11 in my mind being the most beautiful par 3 in Fairfield county. VV is more than just golf it’s a great place to hang out. Look for this course to be all around a spectacular place in a couple years!

The View
Course is under recent new ownership and management. 3-4 holes were under heavy construction, altering the layout and playing experience. But price was reasonable for the conditions, staff knowledgable and friendly.

Challenging but Fun
Course is in great shape, greens are fast and deceptive. The only issue I had was the somewhat confusing routing of the cart path on the back nine. It was my first time there so it could be that. But overall, I liked it and I will play again.

Good course
Staff are friendly and accommodating. Greens are pretty hard and fast for being half way through the season. The back 9 is definitely going to be well worth it once complete. Hopefully get some newer carts in the near future, the current ones are getting a bit tired.

Our favorite course close to home
"The Views" are beautiful on this course especially near sunset. For newcomers please have some patience and understanding as there is some new construction with the development of new holes and a winery/restaurant coming on the back 9. The food is realky good and they offer pizzas, subs and more! The clubhouse is newly remodeled with a brand new patio where you can come out and enjoy the view, food and spirits even if you aren't golfing. The staff is friendly and amazing!

Poor condition
Very firm very fast greens we’re almost unplayable, can’t hold an approach shot,burnt up, rough was 5 inches tall and clover, so if you weren’t in the fairway good luck finding your ball! shot an 86 felt like a 106! Overall horrible condition golf isnt fun when you have to hit your approach shot 15 yards short of the green just to have a 30 footer or run through it.

Up and coming
The course is under new ownership and have been renovating the club house, back 9, and a future restaurant/vineyard. When completed it will be a hidden gem.

The course is in the middle of some major changes. I think it will be interesting,going to have a grapevine vineyard.And a new restaurant with outside seating.

This is not a high end course so manage your expectations. It is a fun course to play and the scenery is fantastic and elevation changes are a fun change in central ohio.
