Great Senior Course, without Senior Tees
It a RTJ Course,
What could be Wrong.
needs some sand in the Bunkers, Greens were in great shape.
Better Yardage markers.
good Quick Round.
Need to educate Players about Slow Play, Needs Beverage Cart, And Rangers.
great fun
We staggered our play from the blue tees on the front and white on the back. It was great for practice and actually the greens were very hard to read, making the putts interesting. We would definitely play it again
not family friendly as advertised
Course is suppose to be family friendly
. It is not. Yes there are forward tees but the course is too difficult for kids. Too many carries over water for young players.my . It tookmy husband and I 2 hours to play nine holes because of slow play.
Great course for the price. Well maintained
Minerals is a great course for the price. It is a nine hole course that you play twice. I have never had to wait to start and have not had any problems with slow players. You will occasionally see a black bear stroll across the fairway. That is just part of playing golf in North Jersey. The course is in good shape and the greens are well maintained. If you are looking for a fun round of golf at a good price, I would recommend playing Minerals.
9 hole day
Great course for the money. Rain in the morning but the course held up well
you can use this course to learn all differnt lyes sidehills
the course is in fair cond. it needs more grass in fairways. the greens are in good shape. it is a resort course so play is slow.
Rainy day
Even on a rainy day such as yesterday we had a great time and the staff were great!
Need better maintenance!!
Decent value, but course conditions were below average!! Greens were extra slow and fairway grass were long... other than than that it's great for very beginners...club house needs major renovations.. bathroom and pro shop are disgusting!!
people are friendly at the coarse.
it is a 9 hole coarse only. great course challenging in some ways.
Great time!
Course is a beautiful looking course with lots of short holes. Great greens (fast) with lots of undulations. Tree-lined so you must be accurate.
Enjoyable and a great value!
Playing Minerals was an enjoyable experience. The course is challenging enough without being overwhelming. It is well maintained among the beautiful local scenery. Add in the reasonable cost through Golf Now and you can't beat it!
Good for cheap, first time or family outing.
I booked this course because it was really cheap for 18 holes. It was $22 for 2 people to play 18 holes with a cart. Not a bad deal for someone that has never played before.
The course itself isn't bad. It's short, a par 61 and is only 9 holes. The tee boxes weren't in the best of shape, many were not flat either. The greens and fairways were pretty good.
I will say this about the course, however, even for a beginner or a veteran, this course is HARD! Even if you hit a short on the fairway, you could be on a hill or slope that is impossible to hit.
Another negative about the course was the sand traps. They were like concrete. I know it had rained a few days before, but they did not look raked in a long time.
Overall, the course is not bad. It's challenging, pretty clean, and you cannot beat the price. I would not play there again, but for some it might be a great way to learn the game and still have money left to not feel guilty about the time spent.
great 9-holes
this course is very nice and beautiful 9-holes course.
Very slow probably due to it being a resort course with many beginners especially on a weekend.
Very slow probably due to it being a 9 hole resort course with many beginners on a weekend, try it during the week.
The course is short but not easy
Fairways could use some care, the greens were in good shape but slow. Overall for the price it's a good course to get some swings in.
For the money, its tough to beat
Not the most meticulously maintained course, but overall no complains. Ill go back
Surprisingly challenging!
the course is a 9 hole a hilly course. Getting on the green is the challenge .ie elevated greens and turning narrow fairways. While there are no par 5 holes, several par 4's play like par 5.
You wont find a better place to play for the money.
Great place to take your son or daughter who is learning to play the game. There are actually two flags on each green, one which is yellow with a ten inch hole for the child and the other which is regular for the parent.
An okay course but requires attention.
Challenging house. Lots of water, bunkers, tight fairways, and steam beds. But greens and tees require maintenance. Super price/value.
Great beginner course
Brought a friend who is starting to golf. Course was perfect for her. More advanced players are better off playing another of the Crystal Springs Courses.
