Pleasant Valley Country Club

The course was in good shape and the pace of play was fast. Had great time.

I live out of state, I have played this course for a second time. The course starts off a little ho-hum but really comes into it a nice layout which I enjoy. We had a good time and had perfect weather on a late October Saturday.

Small issue at end of round that I will take responsibility for but staff member could choose to be a little more diplomatic. As mentioned living 8 hours away and choosing to come back to this course says something about the course itself.

I'm going to keep this short and to the point I attempted to play 18 with a cart today at 4:30 in the afternoon and I was told I could only play 9. I explained that I was by myself and that can play 18 holes easily before dark, seeing that it gets dark at 7:30. Did not end up going to play the 9 holes that she offered, and I never will go. Realistically I had

plenty of time to play. I've never been to the course and I've always wanted to play it but now I will not. I am by myself and have 3 hours of daylight, must not have one of my business too badly. They were not very cooperative and I never even stepped foot in the door .

This course is one of my favorite. because not easy, fun, challenging, good design and price.

Great course in plush condition. I have a hard time understanding a recent review that the course was heading in the wrong direction surely not the case in my eyes

This course offers many challenging holes giving the golfer the opportunity to use almost all of the clubs in the bag. Course has good length and some of the holes require an accurate tee shot. The one down side was the greens had been aerated and putting was difficult.

Hadn't played this course in a couple of years. Used to be better. Greens are still good. Bunkers are kept up. But fairways are a lil rough. Layout isn't very challenging. Carts are loud and don't have windshields. Nothing about the course invites me back.

This course has a classic feel, nice greens and wider fairways. Playing from the tips won't hurt you here because the fairways are wide enough to take shots off center. (Some courses try to force their yardage out to 65-6700 hundred yards and that really causes issues off the tee) this course just challenges you more in a good way.

The course was in great condition and I felt the greens were just the right speed, everything rolled pretty true, some greens had tricky undulation but in a fun way.

They do not have a driving range, which many already know, but they will allow you to chip on the larger practice green.

I don't remember seeing a proshop, but an older styler club-grilled seemed to suit a lot of the guys beverage needs.

I will play here again.

I really liked this place, it's challenging but not too challenging. Par 5's are par 5's which I love. Some good distance par 3's and some nice laid out par 4's.

I've enjoyed every round I've had here. Greens are nice and receptive. Fairways are great and tee boxes are well kept. Pace of play has always been great. It has some long holes and you have an opportunity to use most of the clubs in you bag. Back 9 is certainly tougher and less forgiving.

Really nice course. Will return.

Always heard management didn't cater to the golfers. Course is always in good shape as many golfers stay away due to management. Friend of mine bought 3 beers at the turn and asked for them to be put on ice. Staff told him he had to purchase 4 beers to get ice! WOW. Full kitchen not in use. Had to purchase snacks from vending machine. Afterwards, in the clubhouse I asked for a draft beer. They said sorry, we only sell draft beer by the pitcher. Seriously??!!

Course was very well maintained, staff was helpful. Pace of play was terrific. Gorgeous Saturday morning and pace of play was still very quick. Course also provides a challenge and is visually stunning. Will definitely return!
