Pleasant Valley Country Club

Always heard management didn't cater to the golfers. Course is always in good shape as many golfers stay away due to management. Friend of mine bought 3 beers at the turn and asked for them to be put on ice. Staff told him he had to purchase 4 beers to get ice! WOW. Full kitchen not in use. Had to purchase snacks from vending machine. Afterwards, in the clubhouse I asked for a draft beer. They said sorry, we only sell draft beer by the pitcher. Seriously??!!

Course was very well maintained, staff was helpful. Pace of play was terrific. Gorgeous Saturday morning and pace of play was still very quick. Course also provides a challenge and is visually stunning. Will definitely return!

Well maintained and excellent course in Medina county.

This place is LONG. My only disappointments were the fairways not being trimmed and some of the grounds crew were literally mowing the green we were trying to hit onto. Pretty annoying. Other than that, great track, definitely challenging and I could see being very tough when it's dry. We played the day after a heavy rain so everything was pretty soggy. 100% would recommend

Usually i have an awsome experience at this course, and i love the layout. But i showed up an hour early, forgot they didnt have a driving range.So i asked what the schedule was looking like to see if i could tee off early.

I was told there was one tee time 45mins before mine and nothing else, but if i wanted to tee off early, that i would have to pay the other half of the cart fees, because they dont like one person in a cart, and they have paired me with someone at that time....WTF

Then i receive my key, and get directed to go to their cart storage area to retrieve my own cart (lazy bums, should of put me on the payroll since i was doing their job).

So the group scheduled to tee off 45mins before me shows up, and needless to say, they have one person in a cart playing...SMH

So i was forced to sit at a empty tee box for 45mins until the person they paired me with showed up because they didnt want singles riding on the course, or pair another half a cart fee....when i already paid for my cart on Golfnow...

This doest make any sense....and its a shame because the course has a really nice layout...but the staff sucks...but if she was following the rules...then that rule suck.

Terrible staff, terrible course conditions. Just play golden tee and you won't waste your time going out there.

Great track always in great shape. The greens are true and the layout is challenging enough to make you use all the shots in your bag. The staff is nice amenities are basic but the course is the main attraction.

Front nine is fairly open but back nine is tight. 10,11,12,13 are narrow and tricky. but the last 3 holes are some of the best finishing holes in the area. Course was overcoming some summer grass damage and expect the conditions to be excellent again soon. Greens are tough to read but very fair and in great shape.

First time playing course. Luckily playing partner had played many times. Shot 115. But loved every stroke. Tee time was 0813. No one in front or behind for first few holes. Back 9 was definitely tougher.

Have driven past this course many times on our way to another course. Got a good deal on golfnow so we played. Greens had been aerated about 6 wks before and had healed and were very fast. The fairways had taken a hit in some places from the hot summer but still was in descent shape. The rough was a little long so looking for balls was a little time consuming.

Very average course. Nothing to write home about. But good value for the money.

Played here for the first time and we surprised at how nice the course was. Everything was in excellent shape, considering the dry summer we've had. Greens are in great shape and roll pretty quick. My only complaint about the course, is the staff. I have never been to a course that the staff is so unfriendly. No one smiles and they seem to be bothered if you want something or ask any questions. If you want to take out any refreshments, make sure to bring your own ice with you because they will not give you any. Course is definitely worth playing, just try and avoid the staff at all cost, if you can.

I always love coming to Pleasant Valley. The course has a beautiful, open front nine followed by a narrow and more challenging back nine. I would recommend this course to anyone who loves playing at well-maintained courses.

Liked the layout. Back was much more wooded.

Was there at 6am, so I don't care to judge anyone on their friendliness. But had no issues. Clubhouse is older and dated.

Course was in great shape. The greens were soft and smooth and were medium in speed. We played the blue tees which proved challenging. The course was not crowded and we played as a two-dome in around 3.5 hours.

Had a good round here. Course provides a little bit of everything- short and long holes (3s, 4's and 5's), wide open and narrow holes as well. Nice layout. Greens were a trifle slow but that's OK. Course was in great shape!

I played with my dad and two of our friends. We are from the Cleveland area and tend to travel quite some ways for the best courses in North eastern Ohio. We will definitely be back!

Nothing fancy about this course. Long at straight. Wide fairways on the front and tighten up in the back. Bunkers well maintained and in the right spots. My son and I come here because it is long (7000 yds) from the tips. He plays college golf. Greens are in great shape, large but not flat. Very demanding.
