So So
I’ve played this course many times. This time the course conditions were slightly worse. Many of the fairways were wet and sloppy with standing water. The bunkers were growing weeds.
Great layout, great value
The course is challenging but not overwhelming for the average player. Course is generally well kept.

Not as good as the past
I played this course 10 years ago and it was in much better condition then from what I remember. It had rained the day before but the course looked like it had rained for a week. The grass in the tee boxes was too long as well. I like the whole layout and you do get to make decisions off the tee other than always pulling out the driver which is a nice change from most courses. Definitely wasn’t worth 65.00 for the round.

Not the best condition
Although it was extremely hot that day (in the nineties) we got around in 4 hours. The course was very wet and some holes were mushy and not drivable. Many bald spots throughout the course and the rough was 8" deep in many spots. The greens were very, very slow and not in the best condition. It's ashamed with some TLC the course could be so much more enjoyable.

Felt robbed
I have never left a bad review for anyone, ever. If I could rate this 0 stars I would. Don’t waste your time or money. Maybe worth paying less than $20 per round if it’s your first time playing. Hands down worst golf course on the East Coast. Tee boxes if they had grass it was deeper than the tee, fairways were more weed than grass, and the sand traps were like hitting from dunes down the shore with the number of weeds in them. The greens were the only halfway decent part and they were as slow as putting from the fairway at any other course. If the course wasn’t bad enough the “greens keepers” drove within 5 feet of us while we were over the ball mowing. It’s an insult to the sport to call this place a golf course.

New owners ruined it
Bunkers are unplayable, weeds everywhere, slow greens wonder how often they cut? The new owners have completely ruined what used to be a great value course.

Done
Thought maybe this place would be better because of the new owners. It was not. Same 5 hour round, same poor tee boxes. Same horrible bunkers. Greens were also slow. I’m am offically done with this place
What a waste of money
Anybody that rates this course good, fair or higher must not play much golf beyond the occasional mini golf round. This course sucked. the condition of the fairways was horrible with more weeds than grass which had not been mowed for at least a few days. The greens were slow and bumpy with ball marks everywhere. The layout is fine but I will never play here again. I can find better conditions in an Iowa cornfield or a Wisconsin cow pasture. If the star ratings above would have let me score something less than poor I would have. Whoever bought this course should build houses on it because they sure don't have any idea of how to maintain a golf course.

**BEAWRE** FORCED to SHARE a golf cart with a stranger during COVID-19 pandemic
As a health care worker, I certainly appreciate the trying and difficult times for businesses currently. However, to force a patron to have to share a golf cart with a stranger is highly risky even if the cart has a divider. Unable to find our forth golfer, I was kindly provided a cart only to have to return it after reaching the starter. He force both of us to return our used cart and share a cart with a divider. This lack of understanding and sensitivity to the active COVID-19 crisis is alarming. Please be aware of Rancocas's policy before booking odd numbers.

Used to be a nice place

the greens and fairways need to be maintained better and more markers on the course

SLOW greens
The grass on the greens were way too long. Most of the tee boxes were poor and the fairways were average at best. Overpriced for the quality

Poor Conditions
Had the chance to play the course yesterday for a golf outing. I had heard they sold the course late last year and what a mistake that was. Not like the old owners put much money into the course and I didn't think it could get much worse. Well I was so very wrong the course was in such terrible shape. Tee boxes shaggy as can be looked like the rough. Bunkers in really poor condition if not filled with water they haven't been racked in a long time. The greens where terrible long and slow with ball Mark's every where. It is my understanding this new owner had fired every good person that ever worked there. Have to say it is such a shame because it is a very nice layout but horrible conditions. Definitely will not be back!!!!! Don't waste your time or money.

Worst Bunkers Ever
I was disappointed with the conditions considering how much better the conditions at Golden Pheasant are now and they are owned by the same group. 95% of the bunkers are mud/dirt/rocks with no sand at all. The only improvement made was the flattening of the tee boxes. I was also surprised that they did not let singles take their own cart with COVID; this is the only course that didn't let me have my own cart.

Lack of irrigation-hardpan
Come on man, it’s summertime… You have to water the course. They did a good job of finally leveling the tee boxes. Now let’s get some sand in the bunkers and soften up the fairways and greens. The groundskeeper must be working from home.

Well later out course but not we’ll maintained. Bunker are just mud instead of sand. Course manager wasn’t very friendly and didn’t respect COVID rules. Tried to make me ride with a random stranger instead of having my own cart

Superintendent is horrible
Course was horrible. Poorly kept, only one staff member was nice and that’s the man who sent us off too our tee. Other than that all bad I’d never go back
