Poor Conditions
Had the chance to play the course yesterday for a golf outing. I had heard they sold the course late last year and what a mistake that was. Not like the old owners put much money into the course and I didn't think it could get much worse. Well I was so very wrong the course was in such terrible shape. Tee boxes shaggy as can be looked like the rough. Bunkers in really poor condition if not filled with water they haven't been racked in a long time. The greens where terrible long and slow with ball Mark's every where. It is my understanding this new owner had fired every good person that ever worked there. Have to say it is such a shame because it is a very nice layout but horrible conditions. Definitely will not be back!!!!! Don't waste your time or money.

Worst Bunkers Ever
I was disappointed with the conditions considering how much better the conditions at Golden Pheasant are now and they are owned by the same group. 95% of the bunkers are mud/dirt/rocks with no sand at all. The only improvement made was the flattening of the tee boxes. I was also surprised that they did not let singles take their own cart with COVID; this is the only course that didn't let me have my own cart.

Lack of irrigation-hardpan
Come on man, it’s summertime… You have to water the course. They did a good job of finally leveling the tee boxes. Now let’s get some sand in the bunkers and soften up the fairways and greens. The groundskeeper must be working from home.

Well later out course but not we’ll maintained. Bunker are just mud instead of sand. Course manager wasn’t very friendly and didn’t respect COVID rules. Tried to make me ride with a random stranger instead of having my own cart

Superintendent is horrible
Course was horrible. Poorly kept, only one staff member was nice and that’s the man who sent us off too our tee. Other than that all bad I’d never go back

Five hour round
Could have been an above average experience but the five hours for 18 is too long

Perfect for the avg golfer
Big hitters don’t need driver here for most of the holes. A few (almost) 90 degree dog leg left/rights. Won’t lose too many balls but will definitely hit a few trees during your round. Had a good time here practicing my iron game.

Much improved but slow as molasses
The new owners have done a nice job improving the tee boxes and fixing the cart paths but when it takes three hours to play nine holes, what is the point? We waited fifteen to twenty minutes on every hole because they do not have a ranger make sure that people are moving along. This is inexcusable on a busy Sunday afternoon. We finally quit after nine holes

From the whites
Fun course, had to play the white tees as the blue tee boxes were under repair. However, I enjoyed the course as was shorter than I would have liked, the greens were challenging. The area around the course was nice ,clean and well kept. The carts were sanitized and all staff and golfers were wearing masks.

Disappointed
We had a 10:48 tee time. There are no coolers on the carts any longer not to mention no water on the course which I understood. The cart paths are torn up all over the course and many traps have no sand in them. The tee boxes are level which is good. If it wasn’t for the discount I would’ve never played this course with their high prices since new ownership took over. Being honest just not worth it.

Not worth the cost
I had played there a couple of years ago and it was in much better shape. Weather has been hot and dry, so I know it has been a challenge to keep up. Too many rough greens and most tee boxes were in poor shape. The traps had virtually no sand and were mostly mud and stone. Too many other courses in the area in the same price range that are in much better shape. Hopefully, new owners will get this turned around soon.

Friendly staff at Rancocas Golf Course
The staff was very friendly; GOlfNow stated that we would get the senior rate since we were 60yo, but the pro shop stated that we needed to be 62 to qualify. Other than that, our round was enjoyable.

You get what you pay
Pace of play was the worst i have ever experienced. couldn’t get through 18 with 4:16 tee time. tee boxes were dryer than the sahara as well. BUT it was 38$...

Lots of potential
Just like my golf game this course has lots of potential but is missing some key elements to be considered a great place to play. Doesn't live up to $45 greens fee. Greens were just ok and not consistent. Turf type around the course is questionable. Most fairways are above average condition. A little TLC and this would be a really nice course. The greens need work.
