Golfer Reviews
Pristine condition
Everything was amazing here. I wasn’t the biggest fan of this place, but I wanted to try it again. Wow did my view change. I must have played on a really hot day or something bc I loved this course. On a Saturday we finished the round in just under 4 hours. I bought another round and am playing again in a few days.
Worth playing
Fun course with some challenging greens. Lots of doglegs in both directions. Staff is very friendly. A little over priced imo but with that said I’d go back.
Very nice course
One of the more beautiful course layouts around. Certainly a fun yet challenging course with the deep Jersey rough. Will definitely be back.
Differing nines
This is a nice course that has 2 different types of nines. Front nine is tree lined and accuracy is needed, the back nine is more open and plays fairly short. It is not a course I would put in my top 20 in the area.
Hidden Gem
Staring with the pro shop employee who was very pleasant and the starter who made sure to lay everything out for us. Electric carts that had some pep to them. The course is a good test for your low handicap golfer and exciting for your higher handicap golfers. The course was in impeccable shape the fairways were lush, the tee boxes were well taken care of and the greens rolled true and were in great shape also albeit a little slow. The turn had a nice halfway house with a very nice woman behind the counter. Bang for buck it should be on everyone’s list to play a few times a year. There was plenty of maintenance equipment out taking care of the course all day and they would gladly turn their machines off if you were in hitting distance as to not drown you out with their noise. The rough was thick maybe a homage to Oakmont this week. The sand traps were well maintained also. Overall a 5 star hidden gem in south Jersey!
Good condition; not too long
The course was in good shape. Greens were rolling true though a bit slow (maybe better, still early in season). The layout plays to shorter off tee on many holes. If you’re pitching and putting well, you’ll score well.
