Green Crest Golf Club is a player-friendly course located in Middletown. The course was designed in 1972, offering a traditional layout with wide, forgiving fairways and short roughs. The couse employees are very courteous to newbies
They make the game enjoyable, and understand that we are new to the game. They made us not feel judged.This is now our second time, and will be back soon.

Course needs better tee time mangement
The amount of people booked on this course was far too much and not fair to people that wanted to get a decent round of golf in for an already higher price. Get that shtuff figured out and I’ll come back

A Good Day at a Good Venue
Green Crest is a solid course design and a true challenge. I always enjoy this venue. I also like the management policy of encouraging young golfers.

Slow Play
Course is a good design with several unique features. Courses rough makes it hard to find stray balls. Given my level of play this creates a slow round for me as well as others trying to find balls in the rough.

Great
Got our round in this morning at 7 and beat the rain and played 18 in 3 hours. Couldn’t ask for a better experience even with the carts being path only. Felt good to have the course open and empty!

So Impressed
What a great course. Was greeted with the most pleasant person I've ever met at a golf course. The course itself was very well maintained and has very nice, wide fairways that are quite forgiving. The greens were a bit soft and slow, with some tricky hole positions. It's a perfect course for Intermediate or less.

Muni course, what else is there to expect?
Green crest is a very tight municipal course. It’s not run by the city, we’re playing their feels like I’m playing on a municipal course. Fairways are narrow. Trees line each hole up and down both sides. Greens are challenging. Never a consistent speed. A few challenging holes with water that come in to play. Overall, for the money that I spent, well worth the trip. I would play here again. Not a grip it and rip it course. Needs a little more finesse than I gave it.

Retention ponds
Retention ponds were very dirty and stunk. Not sure you can do anything about that.
