Green Crest Golf Club is a player-friendly course located in Middletown. The course was designed in 1972, offering a traditional layout with wide, forgiving fairways and short roughs. Beautiful Morning of golf
This was my first time playing this course. It was well worth the drive from my home. I had an 8:12 tee time and I was able to finish 18 by 10:30. The only criticism of the course was that some of the rough areas were very patchy where there were clumps of grass and bald spots. The fairways, greens, tee boxes were in great shape. I did not use any of the other amenities.

Slow Pace Poorly Maintained
Green Crest is a below average course that seems to thrive on below average golfers seeking a “hot deal” or gathering for a drunken afternoon that could possibly be better spent at the local sports bar. Driving into the parking lot I recalled to my guests that the course is flat with little challenge, in okay shape, and notoriously slow, and it dawned on me that I had remembered this all too late and would have to settle my expectations to try to enjoy myself. Green Crest’s location is the best thing it has going for it, so you will pay around $25 for convenience to the west Chester area, then pay $20 more for the actual golf. My feed back to the staff and management is this... it is March and golf season has started in Cincinnati, so, you have had 5 months to pick up dead branches and blow leaves from the fall but have completely neglected this while every course near you has not. 8 minute tee times packed to the gills with golf now hackers may be the only thing keeping your business open, but I might suggest to view your customers as guests instead of torture subjects. This course is woefully in need of a ranger and better maintenance standards.. Paying a starter and having players tee off 20 minutes late is the most redundant waste of resources I can possibly imagine. I will not be back as long as I can help it and I sincerely regret my decision to play here today.

Cold and wet
A couple more rounds and I’ll know the character of the course. Was enjoyable. Green tees were long for an 80 year old.

course conditions in pretty good shape
Had a really enjoyable round of golf with the course in good shape. Playing with another single compatible with my level of play. And dealing with a staff that makes it feel comfortable.

Annoying ranger
We were the first ones out on the course after a long frost delay. Around hole 8 we were asked to speed up play or we would be immediately pulled off the course. I look back and don’t even see the group behind us on the tee box yet. And haven’t seen them since we teed off at the starting hole. We were going to stop for beers and drinks at the turn but we fearful we’d lose our stop with the ranger cautiously watching us from a distance. Missed opportunity for more business for the course. Once we went to hole ten the ranger was sitting there waiting for us to arrived and then sped away as soon as we arrived like we were on a clock. Just totally obnoxious and sets the wrong mood for the day. Disappointing.

Not bad
The layout is a bit funky on the back 9 and they make it pretty tough to see the green without a scorecard map. As far as scenery, there is none. It’s just standalone trees which some like but I like the thrill of losing 7 balls in the woods. No restrooms along the course either which is a bit rough. Nice conditions though.

Great course, very slow pace of play

Better than expected
Not a bad track at all in Liberty Township. Great meeting point for me and a buddy driving down from Dayton. Was expecting a lot worse than what the reviews said. Def want to play it again next year!

The pace of play was absolutely terrible, had to wait on every shot from the 1st tee box all the way thru the round. The course was not in the best of shape.
