Green Crest Golf Club is a player-friendly course located in Middletown. The course was designed in 1972, offering a traditional layout with wide, forgiving fairways and short roughs. The golf course is on the shorter side at 6,271 yards from the back tees, which is indicative of the time it was designed. Fishy 15th!!!!
Course is overall good for money. Unfortunately the 15th hole has a pond of dead fish. First It smells awful. Second not sure who should be notified but I will be calling around. Unacceptable.

Need to space walkers from riders
Had three walking in front of us and ended up with an almost three hours 9 holes. Greens were getting rough from footprints and unfixed pitch marks.

First Round With Son
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Course was in very good shape even though there was quite a bit of rain the night before. Went on a Tuesday morning so there was no wait and nobody coming up behind us. Great way to introduce a teenager to golf. Will be back for sure.

Course not maintained at all. Bad fairways throughout and no grass in rough too only bare ground.

Too slow
Tee times stacked 8 minutes apart made for a horrible pace. Took 3 hours to play front 9. Luckily two groups ahead of us only played 9 so we finished the back in 2 hours.

Flat, not too long. A little burnt up due to drought conditions but again, easy enough to work on you game with game conditions

Holiday Golf with Family
We enjoyed the 9 holes on July 4th. Unfortunately the people behind us were a little pushy so we felt as if we were being rushed, but other than that we enjoyed the course and the challenge!

2:40 minutes - 8 holes
The course is so mismanaged that any croup can go out to play and ruin the experience for everyone else. We witnessed two groups that completely slow down the front nine and forced us 2 play at a pace of / 3 hours / 9. we left in disgust after having called the clubhouse and asking for help and had to go around one of the foursomes that was causing the delay. This is not the first time I have seen this happen on this course. They cannot manage heavy traffic on a holiday weekend and I would highly recommend to anyone who values pace-of-play never play there on a holiday weekend. I will not go back even though I only live 15 minutes away.
