Madison Country Club
About
Opened in 1923, Madison Country Club is one of the oldest courses in the area. It has a traditional design that measures to a modest 6,145 yards from the back tees. The golf course may be short by modern standards but this member-owned course has been a local favorite since it first opened. The classic layout has wide, player-friendly fairways that offer plenty of room and the terrain is mostly flat, making it a good golf course to walk. There are a few mature trees scattered throughout and you'll also come across some strategically placed bunkers as well. Madison Country Club is ideal for beginners but it's also a great round of practice for more advanced players. In addition to the golf course, there is also a driving range and short-game area at the club.

Great Course
This was the 1st time I have played Madison CC. It is in great shape with the greens rolling true. The pace of play on a Friday tee time 1 p.m. was outstanding at 3:35. I had heard great things about this course and I am really happy I played it. Challenging but fair.
Great all around!
The staff at Madison is fantastic! Especially the Player Assistants. We ran into some slow play and he had it taken care of. After that we flew around the course. The greens were smooth and rolled true. The rough wasn't too penalizing and the fairways were cut short and consistent. It's really a nice course and I recommend it to anybody!
MAdison country club
Course conditions were outstanding
! Value for your money at this gem. I will plag it again this summer
Beautiful setting
This was a pleasant surprise. First time there and found it second to none as far a a beautiful setting and challenge. Would highly recommend anyone give it a try. You won't be disappointed.
Best kept Public/private course around
The course was in immaculate shape, and drains better then any course in the greater Cleveland area. Someone show me another course, but until then I proclaim this as the best drainage around. (All sand-based) I would definitely recommend this course to any level of handicapper because it's not too long, but still offers great challenge. One of the guys who works at the pro shop is rude, but the rest of the staff is pleasant. Go check it out!
Great value
Went on Easter and the course was In good shape. You get a good bang for your buck when you come here. The staff was very friendly as well. I will for sure be playing here again .
Great challenge
Great condition for November 16 . Staff very friendly . Worth the drive wherever you are coming from !
This course is a well maintained, and mature track
What a great course to play, when you walk away and can remember all of the holes and have used most of the clubs in you bag you know you will be going back. The greens and sand traps were in great shape considering the weather conditions. I would definitely recommend this course to any golfer looking for a challenging day.
Great course
The new owners have made great changes to club and course. It is super maintained. Greens great and fairways great as well. Well maintained. Nice cart paths too. Would recommend to anyone. However I do always use golf now or 18 for discounts.
Great track
Course. Plays close to its private club standard tight fairways require shotmaking skills to score well a little remote but worth the drive.
Still in great condition
I used to love Madison Country Club. The layout was great and the course was always in great condition. I hadn't played there in ten years, but talked some friends into making the hour drive. They had never played there, and since it had gone public, I was a little worried that it might have gone down hill. It has not. Still has the great greens and is in the same wonderful condition overall. A great price for a great track.
Great little gem
Overall, a very solid course. No bells or whistles, just a nice classic track. Two things make me take the trip 40 minutes away. One is the deals. I played here for $20 on a Friday afternoon, but that was through golfnow.com. Madison CC also has an app with free GPS and the ability to book times at a discount. And the second thing is the greens. Superintendent Todd Bishop does an outstanding job. These are BY FAR the most consistent greens I've seen all year! And I've played some of the nicer courses around. They are not the fastest, although they are very quick, but they are the most beautiful. No ball marks or bare spots anywhere to be seen. Absolutely pristine surfaces. Also thanks to Peter Lee, the pro there, who is a really nice and helpful guy.
Really nice course
This course was in great shape the fairways were great and the greens are fast not super fast but fasted. The course has a nice layout with some really good holes.
Coming back strong
New ownership getting the course back in shape. Greens are great and roll true. Staff are great. Friendly and understanding. Excellent value.
Course is greatly improved
Very nice place and has made great strides in impovement since its management change.
Some nice holes
Madison CC, probably plays a little better earlier in the year. Played in September and it was a little chewed up. Still a playable track, with some nice greens and tough pin positions on some holes.
A real treat
If you like golf you are going to enjoy this beautiful layout, the greens are perfect and the sand traps are maintained wonderfully, a real treat.
Madison CC almost back to "private course" condition.
The greens are already there...almost glass-smooth and rather fast (downhill putts required full attention) . Considering the torrential rains and flooding this area has received, the entire course (especially the fairways) were in great condition.
Greens in perfect condition
Madison staff has done a great job in perfecting this course back to pristine conditions. Fairways were doing well despite the rain this year.
Awesome value.
I am probably your best asset. I say nothing but great things about the golfnow website. Unfortunately it will cost me tee times in the future. I played Madison CC for $11. Madison CC is a wonderful course. 6500 from the blues, 6100 from the whites. The course requires you to move the ball both ways, lots of hills, and a creek running through the course involving 8 holes. The course is in good shape, even after it got dumped on with lots of rain.
