Split Rock Golf Club
About
Split Rock Golf Club was carved from the rolling countryside of northern Pickaway County. Its picturesque design is perfectly in sync with the natural surroundings. Designed by the local design team of Michael Hurzdan and Dana Fry, the golf course actually required little manipulation since much of the challenge comes from the natural features of the undulating terrain. The layout has slightly different nines that offer a diversity that appeals to a range of skill levels. The front nine is more open and forgiving while the back nine has tighter fairways that are lined with trees. Water is not a prominent presence at Split Rock Golf Club but it does come into play. In addition to the golf course, golfers are welcome to use the driving range and putting greens before teeing off.

nice place to play
very nice place to play super friendly staff
great course
fast play can get on anytime
course always in great shape
Wonderful course
Split Rock is a fun course to play. The is a lot of variety (not all the holes are the same). There are some easy holes and some difficult holes. Overall, the course is very fun to play.
The greens were in excellent condition the day I played. They rolled very true and were about average speed. The fairways and tee boxes were also in good shape. I really enjoyed the course and look forward to playing it again.
Overall, a fun course to play, regardless of skill level
Not too difficult of a course, but fun to play. I went during the week and finished in about 3.5 hours. Course is well maintained. Staff told me they are looking to make the greens faster, which could make it more challenging. I liked the course layout; it wasn't all just straight and boring. Some good dog legs, and some elevated par 3s which are always fun.
Great course, love the lay and nature of the course. Peaceful.
This is a great course. Very peaceful place to play. I love the lay out and the nature at this course. I would recommend everyone play Split Rock!
One of the best values in Central Ohio
Not the longest course, but plenty of the holes will require a well played shot. Lots of fun to be had here. Greens roll true with a decent speed. Only thing missing is a cart girl.
Good value
I enjoy this course. It's not extremely long, so you get to use all the clubs in your bag. Greens are not always easy to read, so can be frustrating (what green isn't?) at times.
Fairways bunkers and greens below par
Nice layout and got a great price on golf now.com but fairways are like a untreated lawn mowed lower than normal. Bunkers lacked sand and greens were bumpy.
Weednfeed
Course was in bad shape. I have played this course since it opened years ago and it is no better shape now than when it first opened.
Nice Layout
I went golfing here in the fall so, it's hard to tell what condition this course is in during peak season. The fairways had just been "plugged" but the greens were already "healing" from being plugged. I loved the layout and look forward to golfing here next spring/summer.
Nice out in the country course.
Not your everyday golf course. Nice out in the country, never too many people playing. Only takes 3 hours to play 18 holes. Nice clubhouse with down-to-earth people.
This course is nicely layed out.
I played approximately a dozen different coutses this year,I would place Split Rock in the top three.Beautiful course
nice public course
Nice public course, and staff are real friendly. Beautiful and quiet .. and the 15th hole (I think) has a split rock with a tree growing in it .. hence the name.:)
