Willow Run Golf Course
About
Willow Run Golf Course was designed by a ubiquitous name in central Ohio, Jack Kidwell. The local designer played a role in creating many of the state's courses but he infused a different character into each. Willow Run has an interesting layout that will test your shot making skills as well as your course management capabilities. The greens are bentgrass and the fairways are accented with Ohio bluegrass. Correct placement off the tees is the key to doing well, especially on the front nine. Plenty of water comes into play throughout the golf course as well as several strategically placed bunkers. Willow Run's back nine boasts one of the most challenging par 4s in Ohio, the 13th. The green on this tricky hole is fronted by a meandering creek.

Average value for the cost. Course was in very good condition following the recent rain. The cart path needs significant work though, literally undrivable in parts. Tried to be respectful of the 90 degrees but cans were bouncing out of the cup holders. Would love to see any kind of putting green someday.
Great round!
Great rate, great amenities, great course conditions = Great round!
Course condition
The course paths were horrible everywhere. The staff was friendly.
Not bad for $25
The golf course could use A LOT of attention. The drainage isn't good, the course has just as many holes in it as the cart path does. It could be a promising course if they could get it in the right condition. A lot of long holes and the par 3s are decent. Anything over $30 for a round may not be ideal, for now.
18 with cart
Course was in great shape. Greens were firm and hard to hold. Great value!
The good, bad and ugly
Greens in good condition. Challenging. The fairways need cutting with consistent 100/150/200 yardage markers to middle of greens. Tee box yardage on par 3's needed. Golf cart pathways mostly full of potholes and ruts. Could be a real gem otherwise.
Willow Run
Overall I am impressed with this course, especially for the price. The layout is nice and open with some great par 5s. The tee boxes and greens were in great shape for the time of year. The only negative I have to say about the course is the carts have seen better days and the reason for the poor carts are probably the terrible cart paths that beat them up. The clubhouse/resturant and bathrooms are also outdated but they get the job done. If the cart paths were fixed this would be a 5 out of 5 star course.
Fair for the time of the year
For the first time out and the time of the year the course wasn’t bad. Can’t complain to much for paying less than $30. But those golf paths are rough! Felt like I was off roading around the entire golf course.
a little wet
cart paths needed work. a few of the holes had large trees in the middle of the fairways. Never know why you would be penalized from hitting a good drive. just to have to hit around a tree. would play it again.
Wonderful Layout
My first time playing at Willow Run, the course is very well priced and has a great layout. Tee boxes were in fairly good shape for coming out of the winter months. Greens were awesome, hardly any ball marks from people not fixing them. I would say that some of the flags need to be replaced, they are getting pretty tattered and can make it hard to see. The cart path would be the only thing I would say I wasn’t very pleased with. It is full of massive potholes that were full of water. For someone with a bad back it can make for quite a day getting beat up in the cart.
Great Course
We had a fun pre-season round at a great price. Thanks for offering a great deal on GolfNow/TeeOff.
Leaves everywhere
Lost few balls to the leaves. Cart path is horrible,, better off driving in the grass, greens were quick. Might come back in regular season
Terrible pace
Tried spending the day on the course with my 11-year-old son, but we decided to leave after only three and a half holes. They are adamant about their tee times, but not ensuring pace of play. Plus, having a very rude foursome hitting into us while we're in the fairway waiting for the green to clear isn't conducive to my son learning to enjoy this great game. I know it won't harm them in anyway, but we won't be back.
