About
Willow Run Golf Course was designed by a ubiquitous name in central Ohio, Jack Kidwell. The local designer played a role in creating many of the state's courses but he infused a different character into each. Willow Run has an interesting layout that will test your shot making skills as well as your course management capabilities. The greens are bentgrass and the fairways are accented with Ohio bluegrass. Correct placement off the tees is the key to doing well, especially on the front nine. Plenty of water comes into play throughout the golf course as well as several strategically placed bunkers. Willow Run's back nine boasts one of the most challenging par 4s in Ohio, the 13th. The green on this tricky hole is fronted by a meandering creek.

Best course for the price!
I usually play at this course in summer because the course has many trees around which keeps us cool during the hot summer months and it is very affordable. The layout is very nice.
Fun course
Nice course, strategy for first time players..lay up, lots of blind shots.
Golf path could def use a make over though…will play again soon
Willow Run Golf Course Review
Willow Run was a fun course to play. We enjoyed playing a course that forces us to shape shots and not just hit down a straight fairway to the green.
There were enough bunkers, water hazards and trees along the fairways to make this a challenging course, but not so hard that a beginner could not golf there.
Only complaint about this course is the cart paths need some repair. Especially on the front 9. Other than that, staff was very friendly and had a nicely stocked pro shop.
Course co dictions we’re poor
Been playing here for years. The tee boxes and greens look like they haven’t been repaired all year. The in the clubhouse staff is always kind and accommodating, but course upkeep leaves plenty to be desired.
Little love
Even though many consider the course easy as I did, the greens were in fantastic shape even for how hot it’s been and how little rain we’ve had. The cart path could use a lot of love but that’s my only complaint. Just a popping down of some construction gravel can do a lot
Great value, great pace
Played for first time in 8-10 years! Trees got much bigger!! Played mid-day, mid-week. Course was in reasonable condition and with more than a few players, but certainly not overcrowded. I finished 18 holes in under 4 hours. I'll be back.
Excellent Value!
It was my first time didn't really know what to expect. Pretty nice little spot all and all. Pretty bad cart paths, so hold your beer. Aside from some areas that were just downright unplayable the course is in pretty dang good shape. For the money it wasn't too bad. I will be back!
Good value
Fun little course… unfortunately these were the worst greens I have ever played. Virtually un-usable.
