About
Willow Run Golf Course was designed by a ubiquitous name in central Ohio, Jack Kidwell. The local designer played a role in creating many of the state's courses but he infused a different character into each. Willow Run has an interesting layout that will test your shot making skills as well as your course management capabilities. The greens are bentgrass and the fairways are accented with Ohio bluegrass. Correct placement off the tees is the key to doing well, especially on the front nine. Plenty of water comes into play throughout the golf course as well as several strategically placed bunkers. Willow Run's back nine boasts one of the most challenging par 4s in Ohio, the 13th. The green on this tricky hole is fronted by a meandering creek.

Great value
Willow Run offers a good course at a great price. The fairway was lush and there were some challenging holes without the course being too difficult. The only major drawback was the lack of driving range. Will definitely play again!
Worth the $12 w/ cart
Soooooo slow of play....no ranger..... a few of the greens looked like a rugby match was played on them.
Cart paths are poor at best. I think they haven't ever been maintained since the course opened....my back is still sore.
Great Value
If you’re looking for a value this is a great place to come. Everyone was friendly and the course is fun to play as well. The cart paths are horrible and the greens aren’t the best but not bad either . but other than that it’s a solid place to play.
Price value is great
Not the best course but by far not the worst. Pace of play was great till I got stuck behind a twosome that wouldn’t let me pass. Course condition was great for the price of $21 for 18 holes with a cart. P.S. beer wasn’t overpriced
A Great Golf Experience
I met a couple of guys at Willow Run and we had a very enjoyable round. The course was in extraordinary shape, considering heat, COVID, staffing and everything 2020 has thrown our way. The greens were my favorite part of the course. Fairways were pretty good, too. The sand was not overgrown like other tracks. Easy to get to from anywhere in central Ohio .I highly recommend a day at Willow Run!
I have had better rounds there
When pulling in the parking lot #1 was already backed up. The pace was so slow that we did not play the back 9. It had rained so the rough was deep. I lost two balls that were inbounds just off the fairway that should have been findable. I have played here before but the conditions were degraded from previous rounds.

Great layout and condition was good. Pace of play was good and the staff were helpful and friendly.
Good course
Course was presentable after previous nights gullywasher. Most of water was removed. Fairways and greens were Terrific but many golfers did not seem to care about fixing greens after approach. I fixed quite a few. Courses deserve that. Thanks
Great shape just really wet from heavy rain night before
Course was in good shape, very wet from rain night before. Twosome in front of us very slow. Had to wait before every shot. Nobody in front of them for at least 3 holes, but never once offered to let us play vcd through. Then the 5some of older guys behind us that told us on 1st tee they play there a lot starting hitting into us. They could see that we were waiting before every shot to hit. These guys need to be put in there place. All I could do not to hit there balls right back at them. My tee time was 7:42am on 9-8-2020. Hope this helps you identify these regulars and reprimand them before someone with less patience does.

They need to have a ranger on back nine. I group in front of us were just playing around taking 20 on each hole! Not worth it. Cart paths suck!
Good deal for the money
IF you are looking to practice or just get out and play this is the place for you. Course isn't in great shape but the greens are well maintained and lets you try out every shot
good course for the money
good course the money, in better shape than it was earlier this year. all the bunkers have been restored with new sand, nice a can actually hit out of them now! a 15 min drive out 161 from 270 , worth getting out of the crowds!
