Willow Run Golf Course
About
Willow Run Golf Course was designed by a ubiquitous name in central Ohio, Jack Kidwell. The local designer played a role in creating many of the state's courses but he infused a different character into each. Willow Run has an interesting layout that will test your shot making skills as well as your course management capabilities. The greens are bentgrass and the fairways are accented with Ohio bluegrass. Correct placement off the tees is the key to doing well, especially on the front nine. Plenty of water comes into play throughout the golf course as well as several strategically placed bunkers. Willow Run's back nine boasts one of the most challenging par 4s in Ohio, the 13th. The green on this tricky hole is fronted by a meandering creek.

fun track
Some quirky, fun holes...decent conditions...about what you'd expect for a mid-price public course...we'd come back and play again
Great golf course
I’ve been playing at this course few times this year. It has beautiful nature settings and lots of shades on every tee off which helps during the hot summer. I rather play at this course than any other courses!
Good course for easy round
Packed Saturday. No problem everyone tried to keep it moving. That’s golf in Ohio summers. Good course for players looking for an easier round with good opportunities to score. Confidence builder if you will. Good price on beer and great value.
Excellent course and value
My only complaint about this course are the cart paths. They could use some work. The greens are great, fairways in really good shape.
Cheap rates and still not worth it
I’m not sure where to begin here. I hadn’t played here in a few years. It was deteriorating then and the management/ownership seem to have done little upkeep on this course.
The first noticeable thing was when we got our cart. It was rattling like it had been through a war zone. We quickly found out why the cart was so beat up when we attempted to drive on the cart path. The paths here are literally undriveable because of all of the pot holes. I felt it was actually unsafe to use the paths so we used the grass, which from the tire marks in the grass, so did a lot of other people.
The fairways need attention badly. They are full of ruts and large holes that look like they’ve been there for quite some time. The tee boxes were adequate and the greens were in very good shape. The greens were the one bright spot for this course.
An annoyance we had were the tractors that pretty much followed us on the entire front nine spraying herbicide and since they are old beat up Ford’s they were quite loud even at idle. Kind of difficult to focus when you have an idling old and loud machine about 30 feet from you.
There were some good things though. The staff inside was very nice and the greens were in very good shape.
I paid $20 so I wasn’t expecting much but I feel I overpaid by about 15 bucks
Great Course but could’ve used a ranger
Fun course that was well maintained. Took nearly five hours to play 18 because of the two foursomes in front of us
Nice course
It was my first time playing 18 and the other guests and staff were super friendly. The course was in good shape also. 10/10
Surprise
Very surprised to find out our Golf Now booking did not include carts. Would have been nice to know that in advance. We were able to pay extra for carts, but again surprised they weren’t doing one cart per person. I don’t think I’ll be back.
A Central Ohio Golf Gem
A well maintained course with friendly staff. This is the perfect walking course at just over 4 miles, with the tee boxes for subsequent holes next to the greens. Greens were fast, yet soft. Fairways were in good shape and the first cut isn't too punishing.. Can't say the same for the rough. There is water to contend with throughout the course. but this place is def a hidden gem in Central Ohio.
