About
Willow Run Golf Course was designed by a ubiquitous name in central Ohio, Jack Kidwell. The local designer played a role in creating many of the state's courses but he infused a different character into each. Willow Run has an interesting layout that will test your shot making skills as well as your course management capabilities. The greens are bentgrass and the fairways are accented with Ohio bluegrass. Correct placement off the tees is the key to doing well, especially on the front nine. Plenty of water comes into play throughout the golf course as well as several strategically placed bunkers. Willow Run's back nine boasts one of the most challenging par 4s in Ohio, the 13th. The green on this tricky hole is fronted by a meandering creek.

Great Course
I always enjoy this course everyone is so friendly and the course is always in good condition
Great shape just wet
Course wasin good shape, lots of standing water from rain. Play was slow first 2 holes, but moved at great pace after that. Staff super friendly as always.

Weather was just perfect, course was packed. The group in front of us were two women that were just learning the game but were hitting off the white back tees. They didn't even hit to the gold tees most the time. The man would not hit until they were in the middle of the hole. They the twosome in front of them were really poor golfers. Over four hours and it should have been 3.5. There was also a five some hitting into us. Very miserable to be in the middle. Should have been a ranger to correct these issues.
Beautiful day of golf
75 & sunny in Ohio. I was a single & teamed up with two younger gentlemen. Played a nice round & course in great shape. The only downside is the cardboard are in really bad shape.
Ok. Slow play.
Like many public courses. Willow run has kind of been let go a bit. I understand it is tough to make money these days. I wish them well.
fun track
Some quirky, fun holes...decent conditions...about what you'd expect for a mid-price public course...we'd come back and play again
