About
Willow Run Golf Course was designed by a ubiquitous name in central Ohio, Jack Kidwell. The local designer played a role in creating many of the state's courses but he infused a different character into each. Willow Run has an interesting layout that will test your shot making skills as well as your course management capabilities. The greens are bentgrass and the fairways are accented with Ohio bluegrass. Correct placement off the tees is the key to doing well, especially on the front nine. Plenty of water comes into play throughout the golf course as well as several strategically placed bunkers. Willow Run's back nine boasts one of the most challenging par 4s in Ohio, the 13th. The green on this tricky hole is fronted by a meandering creek.

A bit wet
To be fair we did get some rain recently and it's still early in the year but the course played real good and we had a great time playing it
Difficult to play due to many fallen leaves
I played several times in this golf course but, this time was very difficult due to many leaves on most of fairways. It's very difficult to find the balls around the fairway and disturb to concentrate on the game.
Best course for the money.
The greens and bunkers are well maintained, better than most courses costing 2 or 3 times more.
Don't waste your time on this piece of crap Golf Course
I thought I would try to go out and play this golf course they said they had a special deal $25 for all you can play when I got there at 1:34 in the afternoon the person that checked me and said Play The Back Nine so that I could get some golf in everybody was on the front and there shouldn't be any problem getting to the front and getting your 18 holes in in a good time that didn't happen long story short I got 12 holes in complain to the office staff and they told me what was I complain about that I'd gotten 12 holes in as a single and less than 3 hours I told him is a piece of crap course and they told me never to come back I won't be back I just worn and everyone if you want a bad experience and want to be on a golf course all day you can give your money away at this place
Fun track
Fun track. Staff nice . Good chances to score if you can putt.
Best I Ever Shot
I'm a hacker so an 84 is a huge deal for me. That said, the course was a great value! I got to use just about every club in my bag. Staff was friendly and accommodating!
Fairways are horrible
I know it's cheap, but I've seldom golfed at a course in this bad condition. Fairways had large swathes of mud and tractor tracks, more from careless mowers than golfers. The staff was rude an negligent of their customers and I felt like I was treated like I wasnt worthy to golf there. Overall unhappy with my round
General Course
Read reviews before picking everything was positive so excited to play. Got there didn’t have our Golf Now reservation, but let us play after showing we paid online. Course was in pretty bad shape, garbage had not been emptied in a while, and no yardage markers except dull painted marks on golf cart path. Overall decent layout, but very short. Hole 10 while hitting a putt a person drove the green. Nothing like hitting a putt and a ball rolls up to your foot. Most positive thing was the greens were in good shape. Just need a little divot repair. Overall I wouldn’t drive 30 minutes again to play this course. Also address is wrong on Golf Now. Keep that in mind.
Nice Course!!
I enjoyed my round here at this golf course. The course was maintained and staff was friendly. The cart paths are manageable, however could use some love. This course played more challenging than expected, yet fair enough to score low on a few holes. I would recommend this course to anyone who loves golf as I'm sure you would enjoy playing this course. I plan on playing here again this summer and hopefull catch a few good "hot deals" again.
