Willow Run Golf Course
About
Willow Run Golf Course was designed by a ubiquitous name in central Ohio, Jack Kidwell. The local designer played a role in creating many of the state's courses but he infused a different character into each. Willow Run has an interesting layout that will test your shot making skills as well as your course management capabilities. The greens are bentgrass and the fairways are accented with Ohio bluegrass. Correct placement off the tees is the key to doing well, especially on the front nine. Plenty of water comes into play throughout the golf course as well as several strategically placed bunkers. Willow Run's back nine boasts one of the most challenging par 4s in Ohio, the 13th. The green on this tricky hole is fronted by a meandering creek.

General Course
Read reviews before picking everything was positive so excited to play. Got there didn’t have our Golf Now reservation, but let us play after showing we paid online. Course was in pretty bad shape, garbage had not been emptied in a while, and no yardage markers except dull painted marks on golf cart path. Overall decent layout, but very short. Hole 10 while hitting a putt a person drove the green. Nothing like hitting a putt and a ball rolls up to your foot. Most positive thing was the greens were in good shape. Just need a little divot repair. Overall I wouldn’t drive 30 minutes again to play this course. Also address is wrong on Golf Now. Keep that in mind.
Nice Course!!
I enjoyed my round here at this golf course. The course was maintained and staff was friendly. The cart paths are manageable, however could use some love. This course played more challenging than expected, yet fair enough to score low on a few holes. I would recommend this course to anyone who loves golf as I'm sure you would enjoy playing this course. I plan on playing here again this summer and hopefull catch a few good "hot deals" again.
Willow Run
The course was tougher than I thought it would be. There were some issues with the condition but we’ve had a lot of rain the last couple of weeks so not their fault. Cart paths need redone they were in bad condition.
First Time Playing Course
The course was very wet, due recent rain. However, it was very playable. Greens were in excellent shape considering the amount of rain they had received. Will definitely play this course again.
However, the cart paths are in poor condition, and in need of patching / repairs throughout the course.
Great value
Played my first round in 7 year and had a great time. The cart paths could use some love but overall a great value for the money. I would play this course again.
Great course for the money!
Super nice conditions, cart path was pretty bumpy but overall a good challenging course, some narrow holes and protected greens, rough was cut great, greens were consistent and speedy. Would play again forsure!
Great course conditions TERRIBLE cartpath
Super nice greens and fairways, the rough was cut well, greens were somewhat fast, fairways were narrow but not too narrow. The only thing that drew down this course was the the never ending rocky road they call a cartpath. That and the elderly couple playing behind our twosome that hit into us each of the last 5 holes. (Seriously taking their approach shots from 120 while we were on the green or teeing off before we even hit our second shots)
Great course!
I only played the front 9 of this course but it was very well maintained. The course has nice wide fairways that are tree lined so there is definitely strong incentive to stay in the fairway. I liked the gently rolling hills and the stream that meanders through the course. It adds an additional challenge. The driver might not always be the best choice even on the long holes. Overall a fun , quick course!
Willow did not disappoint
Spent a very enjoyable afternoon with my step bro n law. Early April afternoon, temps started around 50 ish at noon and by 3:30 ish I believe close to 60 degrees made for a very comfortable Spring round of golf for the two of us. The greens were very good. Traps at this time of year are iffy anywhere in central Ohio public golf. Fairways were iffy as well but we are still dealing with feeezing overnight temps. We knew what to expect and were not disappointed. The Golfnow rate with a reward made this outing very accommodating....
Classic old course
Have been playing course since 1979 and has always been a enjoyable game to play.
PATH me the bottle Mr. Jones
Really nice course. Obviously being so early in the year the conditions was so-so. The cart path on the other hand is the worst cart path I’ve ever been on in my life.
greens were in good shape, not much else to say about conditions since it was the end of February, so they are not ideal. with that said, these are the worst cart paths I have seen to date on a course.
