Willow Run Golf Course

About
Willow Run Golf Course was designed by a ubiquitous name in central Ohio, Jack Kidwell. The local designer played a role in creating many of the state's courses but he infused a different character into each. Willow Run has an interesting layout that will test your shot making skills as well as your course management capabilities. The greens are bentgrass and the fairways are accented with Ohio bluegrass. Correct placement off the tees is the key to doing well, especially on the front nine. Plenty of water comes into play throughout the golf course as well as several strategically placed bunkers. Willow Run's back nine boasts one of the most challenging par 4s in Ohio, the 13th. The green on this tricky hole is fronted by a meandering creek.

Not too bad
5he course was in good shape. Pace realy slowed down on the back 9. Only real complaint was the carts were old and beat up, along with the cart path. Keep carts in the grass, and it plays great. Awesome value for a Sunday morning.
Cart paths
I would’ve given a complete five star review, but the cart paths were awful. The pace of play was very slow. There were no marshals on the course to keep everybody moving.
Condition around.
Fairway and green condition are great and very good lay out. But Cart path and all edges of fairway are very bad.
Need a lots of money to repair.
This course scored a bogey.
I know the season is young, but very little prep had occurred. There were many leaves on the fairways, and several greens had twigs obstructing our putts. The employee in the pro shop was not welcoming, and seemed as he felt he was bothered by my presence. The course is generally run down. The cart paths need maintenance, ball washers were non-existent, and there were no tee box markers.
Refund
I would greatly appreciate a refund for 1 of the rounds I purchased as my friend/playing partner experienced a medical emergency morning of the golf round and was unable to play. So I've been charged for 2 rounds and only used one.
Great course for the Average golfer
This course has been meticulously designed to provide an engaging and challenging learning experience. If you are seeking a cost-effective course that offers a stimulating intellectual environment, then this is an excellent option for you.
