About
Cumberland Trail Golf Club is a par-72, Championship layout course that was designed by the Hurdzan/Fry Design team in the year 2000. The golf course offers five different sets of tees tipping it to over 7,200 yards providing an equal challenge for any golfer. Since its opening, Cumberland Trail Golf Club has been known for having the "Best Greens in Columbus." Cumberland not only provides the experience of putting on tour greens, it now provides the overall golf experience every golfer desires when they step out of their car at the golf course.

Great East-side option
Played with a buddy who recommended CT and I couldn’t have been happier with the course. Impeccable shape, especially considering the time of year and even with a slight drizzle in the first round the conditions remained enjoyable
Good day but slow play
It was a good day today but groups in front were moving at snails pace and wouldn’t let us play through 4 hours on a weekday is a bit much. But great course. Hot dogs are better than their sandwiches

Very nice course
I’m from out of town traveling to Columbus for business. Being a golf nut I always take my clubs with me and squeeze in a round or two.
I’ve played at many high end and even private clubs around the country and this ranks up there.
Pros
The fairways and greens were top notched. Staff was friendly. Marshall was very accommodating. Prices was excellent. Paid $30 after GN discount.
Cons
Hitting range for irons only. No drivers. This was the only con so I’ll take it .

Delighted I played this course
Golf now gave me a great deal. Course was in excellent condition. Pace of play was good. Just over 4 hours for 18 holes. Greens were very accepting to approach shots. Weather was perfect. Just a great day at Cumberland Trails.

Amazing Course
It literally feels like you are golfing a country club. On many of the greens, you can barely tell where the fairway stops and the green begins.
Great course, poor amenities
Course was great, greens were lighting fast and a little dried out but overall great conditions. Disappointed that my $6 brat had sat wrapped in foil in a warmer for what I can only imagine was the majority of the day, two bites and tossed it.

This course is consistently in good shape and offers a great deal compared to other central Ohio courses. One of my favorite public courses around here.

Cumberland Trail
Played a twilight round on Sunday (7/30). The course was in decent shape (aside from some bunkers). Was a bit surprised in the speed of the greens though. I recall the greens here running rather fast ... they were not.
And the cart ran out of power mid-way through the 9th hole.

Beautiful course but greens are in rough shape
Would have been a 5 out of 5, however energy green was absolutely peppered with ball marks.

Very nice course
Course in nice shape. The pace of play was slow, waited on every hole, so it was a 5-hour round. Will play there again if the price is right.

Brought back my memory of a few great holes
I have not played at this course for 4-5 years and wheni I played this weekend, i was nicely surprised by the condition, the new bar and pro shop. Will definitely come back again soon.

Must play!!!
This course is a must play course.. I rank it in my top 10 all time and iv played a bunch of courses! Great greens fairways and tees... they were working on a couple of bunkers but they will be fixed soon .

Excellent Round
I recently had the opportunity of playing at Cumberland Trails and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment I stepped onto the course until the final putt, everything about my round was simply perfect.
The course itself is a masterpiece. The meticulously manicured fairways, stunning water features, and strategically placed bunkers add to the visual appeal while also providing a fair and challenging layout. The landscaping was
exceptional, and it was clear that great care is taken to maintain and improve the golf course.
Perhaps what impressed me the most was the overall atmosphere and tranquility of the course. Despite being quite busy, the pace of play was well managed, allowing for an uninterrupted round and peaceful engagement with the game. Additionally, the well-placed seating areas and scenic views throughout the course provided a perfect opportunity for moments of relaxation and reflection.
Overall, my experience at Cumberland Trails was nothing short of fantastic. I would highly recommend it to golf enthusiasts of all skill levels. Whether you're a beginner wanting to improve your game or an experienced player seeking a challenging round, this course truly has something to offer everyone.
