About
Windmill Lakes Golf Club consistently ranks as one of the best courses in the state and is definitely the top golf course in northeastern Ohio. Located in Ravenna, it is the home course for the men's and women's golf teams at Kent State, which is only six miles east of the club. The large, undulating greens are the layout's defining feature. The greens also have a reputation for being some of the best-maintained in the area, allowing them to roll fast and true. The fairways, tee boxes, and rough also boast the same great conditions. More than 50 bunkers are strategically placed throughout the golf course and there are seven lakes that provide water hazards. The Windmill Lakes layout, which measures to just under 7,000 yards, only has two par 5s but there are several long par 4s that demand accurate drives and strong iron play.

Nice course
It felt like a country club. Great Pro Shop! The cart was equipped with GPS a legend book with distances to hazards. Can't wait to go back!
A true test
Regardless of the tees you play, Windmill Lakes is a great place to play. Great facility, fantastic merchandise options, helpful staff and an overall great place to play
Beautiful and challanging course
Beautiful public course that plays and is maintained like a country club.
Ohio high school championships have been played there for years.
Best golf shop in N.E. Ohio. Get on their mailing list so you don't miss the biggest golf equipment and clothing sale anywhere in Ohio or surrounding states
in the fall.

First time playing Windmill Lakes golf course. I was blown away of how nice and beautiful the course looked and played and especially for the low cost. One of my top courses for sure now. Can't wait to go back.
Love this course
Played this course twice so far and I have to say I love it. It's challenging enough for any golfer and offers some great holes. Some of the hazards and bunkers are placed to make you rethink your shot unless your that confident with your game. It's a very nice laid out course and I think anyone would enjoy a round of golf here.

First time playing Windmill Lakes
I thought the course was in great shape considering the amount of rain we got in the last few days. There were a few wet spots but the greens and fairways were excellent. Five tee positions offer something for golfers of every level and the design definitely keeps your attention throughout the round. This is one of the better courses I have played in the area.

Love playing here . The best part is of course the pro shop at Windmill , no better selection of merchandise in the area. The tent sale is the premier event of the year and shouldn't be missed.
Great Course for the Money
Treated great by staff, course is in great condition, carts are fantastic, only complaint was slow pace due to group in front of us and people behind us were constantly hitting into us... not okay. Other than that this is a frequent course for me and I plan on continuing to return.

Excellent for $29. Great shape. Friendly staff. Cart path only due to rain but otherwise no issues. Clubhouse had tons of great merchandise. Bought a new pair of shoes for 50% off.
Quality play
The course was in great shape. Greens are challenging, but roll smoothly. Length of course from back tees is also difficult. Very good conditions.

We'll manicured course
The course is well maintained from the tee box to the green. The greens are quick , spacious, and undulating. A great test of golf.
Long beautiful course
A long course. Exceptionally well-groomed. Almost All straight fairways, no surprises here. Well worth the $$
Really Good Value
This is a nice course. The greens are tricky to read but in good shape. Our threesome was behind a foursome that would not offer to let us through despite multiple holes open in front of them. Ruined a nice day.
Outstanding value
A little farther away then my usual course, but Windmill was definately worth the trip. Will definately return.
