Reid Park Golf Club - North Course

About
There are two 18-hole courses at Reid Park Golf Club, the North and the South. The courses have been providing one of the greater Springfield area's best golf values for over 40 years. The championship North Course is the longer and more challenging of the two. The South Course is open and walkable while the North Course features a hillier terrain with elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Mature trees frame the large, slick greens and there are also strategically placed bunkers throughout. Many locals consider it to be one of the toughest golf courses in the area. Though there are different tees so that you can play to your skill level, beginners may want to stick with the South Course, which still has challenges but is more player-friendly than the North.

I played there two times. I think this is one of the best courses around dayton area. everything is so good. Layout, courses conditions, pace of Play. it is a good one for value for the money. I'm sure i'll recommend this.
will come back
The course was in rough condition. The tee boxes were rough and most didn't have markers. We couldn't tell what we were on (white yellow ?) The bunkers were almost not playable
The course is good, fun to play, the lay out is thinking man's course. It's fun to play but be aware of those people didn't learn the proper golf manners before they learn to play, or those old guys didn't give s*** about single player following them. Almost every round that i played had to skip a hole or two to pass them, otherwise it would be more than 5 1/2 hour or more round.
Great course
Super great staff!!!! Awesome course in super good shape!
Newbie at Reid
Course was very nice with narrow hilly layout. A couple of the holes required carrying ball onto green. Water at 1 and 9 were surprises. Overall a fun course to play.
Staff was very friendly and nice.
Snack just reopened yesterday.
No walk in the Park
Reid Park (North) is the muni course that every city would love to own. It is a true championship challenge with lots of hills and very sloped (and slick) greens. Normal 'gimmie' putts are no sure thing! Some holes have shrunken fairways thanks to some massive trees. During the current COVID measures of no rakes, it was a pleasant surprise to see the bunkers freshly turned and well maintained. In relatively flat Ohio, this course has plenty of hills. Call me when the cart paths get re-paved and I will happily award the 5th star to my review. An overall fantastic value with many challenging holes, Reid Park (North) is NO easy walk in the park.
Beautiful Course
This course is very well maintained. The fairways were in great shape and the greens rolled true. There is a little elevation to deal with, but not a single sand bunker on the course and only a few have water in play. If you can hit straight, you should be able to put up a pretty low score here.

With the new greens keeper from Ohio State this course has improved 100%
Great job
With all the rain in Ohio this year they have done a great job with the upkeep of the course and Springfield should be proud to have Reid golf course,
