Roses Run Country Club

This course is wonderful in the sense that every hole is unique and difficult..... They double booked the tee times and the wait between holes was around 40 minutes with 4 groups at every tee box. Also every trash can was overflowing causing trash to blow all around the tee boxes. This course should be a premier course in the area however very easy things to fix are not held up to standard.

We followed a group of 5 that started that way on the first hole and seemed to have no concern for all of the groups behind them. Had to skip two holes to finish before dark. Five hours and fifteen minutes for sixteen holes is a bit much. I pointed the group out to the pro shop. For the recent amount of rain the course was in great shape.

Roses Run is a fun course with several extremely difficult holes. Over all it's fun to play and I say an Easy 9 & a tough NINE ! The snack shop sucks and the course can sometimes take for ever on the back nine. We enjoy it when the sun is shining and play speed is good. Good value for the money .

This was my first trip down to Stow to play Roses Run CC after years of procrastination, and I regret not playing here sooner.....

For the amount of rain and cool damp conditions that existed for close to 6 days prior, the Course was to be (what I felt were) in Great condition......

The Greens had been aerated approximately 4-5 weeks ago, so they're not going to roll true, and that is with any Course, but I liked the contour and undulation in the Greens and can only imagine how much of a challenge they'll be in the Late Spring/Early Summer......

I enjoyed the layout and the varying styles that separate the Front and Back Nines......

It feels like two completely different courses.....

The friendliness and professionalism of the staff I experienced this day was exceptional, and one of the contributing factors in my decision to play more Golf here in 2017.....(and special thanks to Jim who brought me a cart on #2, when my cart wasn't serviceable).

If you've been procrastinating about playing Roses Run as I had, don't hesitate to book a round.....you'll enjoy the experience!

This is a challenging course that's fun to play. Is a bit spread out, sometimes hard to figure out where next hole is located (from 7 to 8, and also 13.14,15 holes can be confusing). Starter did explain the last 3, so that helped. Overall had a great time, course was in good shape for November 7th and played 18 in a little over 3 hrs. It was also 65 degrees and sunny, so that definitely added to the round. A good test of your golfing skills.

I have played this course several times. Pretty good layout. Some of the holes are close to the houses but not many, Back nine is more challenging but very scenic. The course could use another set of tee boxes. There is one at 6100 yards and next is 5000.

6100 is too long for me and 5000 too short.

The course was in good condition for November, however the greens had been aerated a couple weeks before but not rolled and cut recently.

Hadn't played the course in 10 years or more but it still a good track for all level of players. The course itself was in very good shape and the price was excellent.

1st time playing this course and it was worth the 100 mile drive. Greens and fairways were in great shape. The entire course winds through neighborhoods so there is very little room left or right. The par 5 #12 is extremely challenging. The green on par 3 #17 is totally unfair unless hole was located on lower left tier of the green. The greens were fast but true.Will definitely recommend to friends.

Course condition was in the pretty good shape.. The greens are pretty hard and super fast!! And don't missed hits because the houses are all over the course!! All and all its was pretty fun course..

Fun course in very nice condition. For those who complain about pace of play. Give your fellow golfers a break. Hole's 12 / 13 / 14 (Hail Mary Corner) will challenge the best of players. So expect a delay there. Overall, this course has made our groups must play again rating.

Love this course. So disappointed with pace of play. 4 hrs to reach the 13th hole. Young staff ranger bypassed the 4 some that was holding up everyone.

Couldn't have asked for anything better from the late AM breakfast to the course conditions to the pace of play. 3 of us finished our round in 3 1/2 hrs. What more could you ask for on a beautiful July day.

Pretty decent course. Challenging layout, but not very well maintained.

We have played this course several times, but not for the last two years. We were a bit disappointed. The carts are old and our cart cover was dirty and torn. The tee markers were not painted and, in the case of the forward tees, sometime non-existent. Pace of play was slowed by a foursome two groups ahead of us and there were no starters or rangers on the course to move things along. Nonetheless, the course is challenging with an interesting layout. Hopefully, the owners will pay more attention to the details.

We were very disappointed in the condition of the course. The greens were in questionable condition with a lot of bad spots for whatever reason. We live in North Canton and can play much nicer courses that are not as far. We checked in to the pro shop and were told to check in with the starter. We never saw the starter and not at the turn either. We just did our own thing. We played with 2 other fellows who also booked thru golfnow

One of the more unique courses in town. Has a links feel on a lot of holes. Not many trees so course is exposed to the elements a lot. Greens have a lot of contour. Course is relatively short...but front side has a lot of houses. Was featured in golf digest as one of the top courses to hit a house. The back side has a lot of nice views along the river...beware number 12 the difficult par 5. The course was a race horse breeding farm back in the day. Still has the old race horse theme. Cool club house and good parties on the patio in the summer. Drive range is lacking.

This was a very nice course. The pace of play was really good. Fairways and greens were flawless. The course layout is appealing, particularly the 12th hole.

The course has never been able to get it together. Condition is ok for a public course. Tees and greens are ok at best. Several holes are laid out with no vision or creativity. Not sure how this course stays in business. I don't know anyone that would choose the course over many others in the area. If I lived in the neighborhood and had to pay dues, I would sue the course for the pathetic conditions. Maybe someone will take it over eventually and turn it into a decent course. Step one, STOP CHARGING SO MUCH! I'll never pay more than $30 to play three. It's been a while since I've played there and I can promise I won't be back anytime soon.

hard to play well on your first visit, lots of blind shots, blind doglegs, target greens. fairways that end but cant see they end from the tee box. Course in decent shape. Greens shaggy and slow. sandy tee boxes. fairways in great condition. very long drives between holes. DO not try and walk course.
