Reviews
Had a good round with my friends. We'll be back! A well maintained course. Pace was slow on back 9. Saw no ranger around to urge father play by group in front of us. Again,a very good round.
always a good time
course is in good shape. sometime lots of people but bob the starter is the best and keeps everyone moving.
Denim Nation
For as much rain as this course had received the week before my round it was in good shape. The greens were actually rolling nicely. However, no one fixes their ball marks on the greens which gets annoying. Almost everybody who plays here wears jeans, seems like a strong correlation.
Great pace, fun course
Got out for 13 bucks and played in less than 3 hours. Even a couple of spits of rain were not a problem. The course is mostly flat so it would be good for walking. It is a a nice bridge between a too easy starter course like Airport Greens and a more difficult course like Manakiki. There are maybe 3 or 4 difficult holes but the rest are reasonable par holes for the average golfer. I will play here again!
Just ok
Course is just ok. Nothing special. Need to be kept up better.
Course was great for early season
The greens and fairways were being cut during the round. The greens need to be rolled and then they will be decent. The staff was very friendly.
First official day of spring
Many of the tee boxes were being reseeded. No big deal. Pace was somewhat slow as we had to let 3 groups of 2 play through because a really slow group of 4 was in front of us.. seemed like the course chose to not believe in tee times and just let people go off right away. The guy who helped us with the carts is always super cool and professional. If you can get a round for under $30 this course is worth it.
Been playing this course since 1970 and have played about 60 rounds. Decent course with favorable prices.
Nice old Course In Good Shape
Don't believe I ever played this course before! Hard to believe. Nice course with true greens. Really a very pleasant spot!
Fun course
I played here today for the first time. It was fun and it was a good challenge. I`ll be back soon.
Fun, User Friendly Course
Overall, a very nice course in very good shape. The nicest feature of Lost Nation is the difference between the front and back. The front is fairly open and very forgiving. The back is much tighter with less room for error and feels like a different course than the front. Greens are in great shape and easy to navigate, even a bit furry, which allows for faster puts so you can go right at the hole.
Very Good
Course is the best its been in years and it been good for 5 years. Love L Nation.
Course conditions were very good for early season
Greens and fairways were in very good condition. They have done some work on the course as last year the condition was not very good. Highly recommend!
Well kept but not exciting
Its a decent course for a muni. The greens rolled true but a little slow. The layout is "ho-hum" with no sidehill lies. This leads to a pretty benign test of golf. The par 3's are challenging but not long. Nice course but not one you would go out of your way to play.
Nice shape
Unfortunately greens had been worked on getting ready for winter. Course in good shape though.
Pleasant experience at this course
A well maintained and moderately challenging course.
Offers very few frustrating obstacles to success, though there are a few holes that are among the more difficult ones in NE Ohio.
you'd never know it's a muni...
I got this as a hot deal. great deal, $14 for 18 and a cart. Paired up with a couple of seniors and a doctor. Course was simply perfect from tee to green. Greens were slow (this is a muni that gets a TON of play) but they still rolled very true. This in spite of a pretty big outing that had just finished. The starter said if we went off the back first we would "fly." He wasn't kidding! We made amazing time. Really wonderful course. Nice challenger but no insanely hard by any means. the two remodeled par 5s on the front are excellent holes.
This course was in good shape and fun holes
The greens were in great shape but the fairways are already stressed by the heat. Some of the holes were very close to oncoming holes so golfers who missed fairways were in the way of the others.
