Revenge of the Golf Gods
Overall, course was in good shape. The greens were a bit deceiving, but that’s standard for aeration. The Golf Gods were not smiling down on us today - rough round. But we al know how this goes, come up 18 and sink a 20 footer for par. Drop a ball on the fringe and chip in with a 72 free wedge. Just enough to make me want to come back.
Good course conditions but they charge $10 for single carts
With the pandemic it is ridiculous they charge extra for single carts. Several courses in Lake county have barriers so you can share a cart and feel safe. They give the lame excuse that Lake county does not require the barriers. This pandemic is not going away anytime soon so invest a few bucks for the barriers w/o ripping people off!!!!
Nice, challenging course
This was my first time playing the course and I really enjoyed it. Some holes were fairly easy, but some were definitely a good challenge. Great location and the course is kept in good shape. Some of the holes have an interesting layout/obstacles.
Great course!
Enjoyed playing this course on both week days and weekend s. A couple challenging holes but for the most part the course is wide open! Everytime I played here it has been play at your own pace, no back ups at all. Overall staff and facilities were friendly and clean. Would recommend this course to anyone!
Houses
Too many houses way too close to fairways and rough! Almost every hole u can put it out of bounds in someone’s yard
Great shape all year!
The course has been in great shape all year. The greens are smooth and roll well but not overly fast or sloping. I played in just over 3 hours on what may be the last 80 degree day for a while.
Great local course
Fun and clean course at a reasonable price point. Hard to beat within 30 miles.
A little wet
Even with the deluge 2 days prior the course was only wet in a couple of places.
9/8/2020
First time playing there and I was extremely impressed with the overall condition of the course, especially with it being late summer. This is a very well taken care of public course. It’s a short course, and not overly challenging, but it has a very nice layout. My only gripe was the lack of supervision on the course; the was no starter or ranger and the group in front of me was painstakingly slow. They would even park their carts right next to the tee boxes and greens. Stuff like that wouldn’t fly other places.
More I play it, more I like it
Is a fun course to play. It does have its challenges. But also easy for the novice as well as elderly. Will definitely be back
Best round this year!
The course was in great shape and has been all summer. The greens are never slick but the rolled well. The wind was a little tricky today but still managed to get around in 3:15. The staff is always nice and covid protocols are followed.
Great condition!
The course is in great shape. The weather was ideal. I played in 3:15.
Still wet
Probably could use some do not drive on a few holes. Also several 4 somes of walkers caused slow play.
Poor service
Drove an hour and showed up to have them tell us that they are booked and we’re out of luck.
