Great spot to play golf
Easy front nine with wide and narrow fairways. Back nine is challenging especially hole 15! Only thing that lacks is the tee box on 13 and the greens are misleading. I can read a green and these greens don't follow the reads.
One of my favorites
Great course, one of my favorite in the Lake County area. Course offers good pace, and challenges for beginner to intermediate golfers like myself who are looking to have a good time and hit a fun round with friends or family. Do advise, there are some holes where houses line the out of bounds and create a challenge for a good tee shot. Only problem is the guys in the club house are senile and aren't the most pleasant (Pretty sure ive had a problem with Brian lIke a previous comment). One wouldn't honor a discounted coupon for anytime after noon at 11:50, no big deal just very uptight. Great bar with a variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks and good food selection.
Unprofessional Staff (Brian) = Will not return
Because of BRIAN (Club House) I will not return or advise any one to golf there. Otherwise, course layout was fun, easy front nine, little challenge to the back (Rained on and off). Food prices was reasonable, attendant was very friendly.
As to Brian - Rude and unprofessional
1. Called to stat I was delayed due to a marathon, he stated if you miss your tee time it is gone.
2. Once getting to course (raining) he would not provide a towel to wipe cart seats off.
3. At turn, we inquired about having a burger, he stormed out of his office and stated "You may not at the turn" (Which is fine, but the food attendant already mentioned that).
Overall Brian was the worst golf course staff person I have ever met. If he answers the phone, it means he is working and I WOULD NOT GO OR BOOK A ROUND.
5-10-15
Good course. we got out on an early time and played in 3 1/2. Perfect for Mothers Day.
Not bad
The course was in good shape, the greens were in pretty good shape even though the greens were air rated overall no complaints
Simple golf for a great rate!
Great course and staff is always friendly as usual. The pace of slow due to an outing that went out early that Sunday morning but after pairing with the two players ahead of us play went very well. The fairways were in great condition, the rough was fair, but the bunkers could have been raked. Lots of dear prints so it seams like no one even attempted to check it at least for a few days. Also, hole #13 is under construction so there is a temporary tee box with astroturf.
I play this course several times a year and they never seem to disappoint. I would play this course again in a heartbeat and you should too!
COURSE WAS IN GREAT SHAPE
GOLF PLAY WAS GOOD NOT ALLOT WAITING AT HOLE GOOD MOVEMENT .
Better than I thought
Course was looking very good from tee to green the new 2nd hole par 5 is really nice go play this course you won't be disappointed..
Good location
I book lost nation of golf now. unfortunately when i showed up the course was full and I could not get on forcing me to go to another course and having me lose out on the 5 dollar charge it cost to book the tee time.
Good course
Great course for average golfer. Recommend to anyone who is looking for an intermediate course. Pin placement was extremely tough the day that I went
Management issue?
We played on Fathers Day and waited 35 minutes beyond our tee time for a golf cart. They ran out of golf carts. How? Why? Pace of play after we actually got on the course was brutal. There wasn't a ranger to be found.
The course is a typical municipal track. A couple challenging holes but nothing that sets it apart. Having played it before I knew of the pace of play issue but on this date it was well beyond reasonable.
nice
This course was in great shape and the greens were too. Good price on golfnow. A little expensive otherwise.
Good course for the value
Friendly staff. They have started renovations to the course and once completed will make the course even better. Well maintained and fun to play. Course is fairly straightforward, but definitely has a few challenging shots. Is also open all year long.
Always improving the course
This course has a few fun challenges, little hills, valllies , & sand l around the greens and fairways. They have been improving the course over years: better drainage systems & and tee boxes. Staff is always very nice. You should get good price going through your GolfNow. Would recommend this course highly.
Course in good condition for November.
Course was in good condition except on the back nine there were areas that were being repaired and or upgraded. Will look nice when finished. A fairly easy track but they are taking care of this course. Nice to see them working on the course to make it better. Will go back again.
Improving
The management seems to be making meaningful strides in improving this course. It is vastly better than it was 10 years ago. Overall a fairly basic course, but with enough variety to not get boring. Greens were nice in Novermber
