Nice, but ridiculously slow pace
Beautiful, well manicured course. Nicest fairways around. The pace was unbearable. Actually watched 4 grown men in the second group ahead of me walk around for nearly 10 minutes just off the fairway looking for someone's ball as groups piled up behind them watching. It must have been made of gold. They should have flagged people to play through if something was that valuable. A marshall would be helpful to keep the pace moving. At least 2 groups behind me quit early.

Greens' speeds were inconsistent...but...that is NE Ohio weather related...still early...still a great fay

Zoar is an outstanding facility. Greens were like a country club, fast and smooth. Easy drive off of Rt.77. All aspects of Zoar , course conditions, friendly staff & facilities make it a must play. Brad the manager & course superintendent deserve a raise. Well done Zoar!!
A must play!!
First time playing Zoar Golf Course with friends on a little golf trip. Course conditions were outstanding for a busy public course. Tees, fairways & especially the greens are top notch. An easy 1.5 hour drive from Cleveland. Brad the manager & the Superintendent are clearly the reason Zoar Golf Course is a must play.
Excellent Condition
We played Zoar Village as part of our visit to Amish country in Holmes county. The course was very playable and beautifully maintained from tee box, fairways, greens and cart paths. The only drawback; we could not find restrooms on the course.
My wife and I have played 25 different Ohio-Michigan courses this summer, Zoar Village definitely ranks near the top. The course is not overly challenging with forced carries and hazards, but the beauty and condition of the course makes it a joy to play.
Zoar
best all around course conditions in the area year in and year out. They started charging more which stinks but theyre always super busy because of how nice the course is. Even though they're busy, they space out groups enough that a round never takes more than 5 hours at their busiest. They also are not aerating the greens this year so it'll be the place to play when the leaves start to fall!

The staff was very friendly and courteous. Equipment was good. The weather couldn't be beat.
The course was in excellent condition: greens, fairways, tee boxes. The greens were challenging but ran true. There is nothing I have to say about this course that is not good. Had a great round on a beautiful course. I would highly recommend Zoar Golf Course in Zoar, OH.
