Pleasantly surprised.
The course rewarded good shots and allowed for quality recovery shots as well. Open fairways allows for aggressive tee shots. But the distance markers on par three boxes are difficult to read. New painted numbers are needed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I was disappointed that the little grill wasn't open for sandwiches or burgers, being a Sunday and all. But, they did at least have some good hot dogs for a quick bite. I enjoyed the layout so much that we paid for a second 18!!! I will play again soon. Dan Corder OKC
7 hours ahead!
We made a tee time from Golf Now (mistake), due to an error on Golf Now (posting a tee time from another course that didn't exist). It looked like a good deal, however:
1) As usual with Golf Now, no mention of a super large Junior Golf tournament was made.
2) We were told we would need to wait for 30 extra minutes just to tee off behind a large tournament.
3) After more than an hour, we were still behind several groups waiting to tee off, but the golfers from the tournament still had several groups to tee off!!!
4 Unable to wait until sundown to play, we decided to leave. Goodbye golf, time, gas money, and reservation money.
5) Buyers beware!!!!!!!!!!
Some people blame the course for the heat or the wind. This moron blames the course for everything. Pay no mind to the haters, this is an excellent course and a great value.
You must understand that Golf Now is not a local organization here for just your convenience. It is a National organization and have no way of knowing what any local course is doing at any moment. Every course does have a phone though and does accept calls......

Very nice surprise
My wife and I went out for a relaxing afternoon and were very pleased with the course, the staff, the value, and the beauty on a number of holes. We feel like we found an hidden gem. I will go back many times!

Great couse
Nice layout, greens were a little rough from aeration and sanding, fairways in good shape for this time of year. Plan on playing there again. Great price!

Cart path only
Played shortly after rain and had to keep to the cart paths. It highlighted the wide fairways that were in great shape. Happy with the greens,. Lots of fresh divots. (Can't believe people don't understand the courtesy of fixing a divot!). Enjoyed my round!

Nice course with a little bit of country club feel.
Nice course that has some character to it. For the average golfer this layout is quite enjoyable. The course is not long and It is much more enjoyable than many public course layouts.

On vacation from Cheeseheadland
Great value!!! 11:24 teetime...no one was out there. A couple of the greens were tricky.....but we enjoyed them. We play here when we come to the area to visit. Will be back next year.

Great course!
The course has some challenging holes at the start but gets a little better as you play through. The staff is always very friendly. The rates are always affordable and the course is just a lot of fun. This course is great if you're wanting to get started learning golf. A beginner can easily pick up the game on this course. Great atmosphere.

Drive 10 min to Perkins and save yourself the hassle of dealing with the Stillwater lakeside course.

Excellent Course
Course was in the best shape that I've ever played it. Quite an accomplishment considering it's August in Oklahoma. Simply could not beat the experience for the money.

Cimmaron Trails serene
wonderful staff, relaxing setting, nice course for most levels of player..........solid course in an area that includes a major championship course (Karsten Creek).......one of the better semi-private venues for the value conscious golfer in Oklahoma.

The best kept secret in the Stillwater area
The course is in excellent condition. Fairways and greens are very nice. This is a fun course to play. If this course was located in OKC it would be hard to get a tee time, Cimmaron Trails is a no brainier. Highly recommend !!
Excellent Challenge / Great Greens
The course is always in top condition with great greens. Par 5s are reachable but with risk. Great staff.
Great Shape, Great Price
I was very surprised by how great this golf course was. My buddies and I decided to swing through there on our way back from a business meeting in Tulsa and was able to play the course for $8/each! Seeing the price made me nervous as to what the course condition was going to be like, but it ended up being the absolute best value in the entire state. Fairways were incredible, greens were spongy and rolled very nice, and the was distinction between the fairways and rough. Really wish this course was closer to Norman, I'd play it every day!
good idea,bad timing
I enjoyed the holes I got to play,but I traveled 70 miles
and got rained out after 8 holes I took a chance and realize the course cannot do anything because it was online anyway it is an excellent golf course.
Country Jewel
Quality facility in small town! Smooth, medium fast, greens. If you are a big hitter don't be afraid of cutting the corners.
