Worth the pretty ride from Edmond. Amazing deal for a nice little track. Played 36 in 5 hours without rushing. Greens are good. Good bunkering. A couple of memorable holes, par 5 12(?) is really nice. Will go back for sure.
A very pleasant experience
I've played this course twice, and I really like it. I have a 12 handicap, and I found it challenging and also somewhat forgiving. The fairways were great, even in the off-season. Greens are among the best around: no winter kill. Although it's a little out of the way from the Metro, it is worth the drive.
Very nice
I love the layout here. Course was in great shape foe late December. We had a 9:42 tee time and were about an hour early. Frost on greens so hit a bucket and wait. About 9:15. Teed off 1/2 hour early, 1st group on the course played 18 in 2hrs 30 min. Had a blast. Green in great shape! Some players lazy and didn't repair ball marks
Chellenging Layout
The course was in very good condition. Played here twice now and both times in great shape. The layout is excellent. Holes that favor draws and fades, water carries, and some require decision making.
Great Value
I have played this course before and booked this tee time through the golf now app. The course is in great condition and pace of play was slower but we played on a holiday. Would come back to play again.
Windy Play
The course has a great layout, fairways, and greens great. Except for the winds, this was a fantastic day. If it were closer I would play it all the time, as it is I will come back again as often as possible. Thank you Cimarron Trails for a great golfing experience.
Great small town course
Great course to play for beginners to well established players. Course conditions were fantastic. Nice to play were not being in the fairway doesn't mean you lose your ball. Rough was manageable, fairways and greens were in great shape.
Worth the drive!
After being a little disappointed in the offerings on Golfnow.com I found this course. It gets really good reviews and is about a 45 minute drive from OKC. So I/ we gave it a shot. We were not disappointed. The drive is... well, 45 minutes. that's the long and the short of it. but the roads are highways with good speed limits and little traffic (usually). But the course, that's entirely the other end of the spectrum. The layout is pretty challenging. It's pretty long from the blue and gold tees. These tees usually feature a narrowing of trees before opening up from the whites and reds, adding a lot of challenge in addition to the longer distance but leaving much easier drives for lesser experienced golfers. There is not a lot of water on the course. You mostly play alongside the lakes and ponds and only must hit over water on a couple of par 3's (#2 & #10). It makes up for that with well placed bunkers and distance, with trees coming into play as well as tall native grasses in a few places. Even for early fall, the fairways are in great shape with little hardpan. This is probably due to very sandy soils around the area. The greens were really fast despite hand-watering and in really good condition. This made for a great & true putting experience. If I had to be nit-picky and find something negative about the course beyond the 45 minute drive it would be the high school football stadium next to it. I have played this course several times since my first tee. On one Saturday the music and announcer's messages from little league games being played there from #1 tee to #18 cup were incessant and loud. They could be heard all over the course. Of course if that is bothersome it would only be on certain days and times of the year. We didn't let it bother us except to laugh at some "idiot" on the tee ahead of us while he kneeled in protest during the National Anthem!
Great course for a great price
I secured my tee time through the Golf Now app for less than $15. That included an entire 18 holes with a cart. I checked in quickly. Had no wait time at the first tee. I played alone and never got held up by any groups. All water dispensers were actually full and cold. Course seemed to be in pretty good shape too. Very good round for a very cheap price.
Found Gem in Central Oklahoma
This course is about 45 mins to an hour west of Tulsa and is only about 10 miles south of Stillwater. My wife and I played here because we had never played here before. Read the reviews and it was a blast. It was beautiful weather with about 10-15 Mph wind. The greens were smallish and puts were hard to read but they were fair and in pretty good shape. I played from the back tees and you must hit long drives (250 +) from back there and very accurate tee shots as well. If I had played the white tees, I would have had an easier time. My wife really enjoyed it too. Price can't be beat and it was well worth the drive. We will be back.
Always in great shape.
I didn't play well, but it had nothing to do with the course. I can always count on this course to be in great shape. That's why I drive 45 mins to play there. Good greens, challenging, great risk/reward holes and a good variety.
Great place
The course in excellent shape pace of play in less than 3 hours. The staff very helpful and attentive.
I was shocked
Had heard very little about this course, just its existence. It looked pretty good when I drove up. I was shocked by the almost excellent condition, the comfort in the layout, and the views on this out-in-the boonies golf course. I HIGHLY recommend this course to anyone who loves golf, you will enjoy your day here. For a public course, this one is right up there with some of the best around. I was shocked--Happily.
Good time
Played with some buddies and we really enjoyed the course.
great
I played by myself. It seemed busy to me, every group let me play through. Very enjoyable. Some places the ruff was to thick and needed to be cut down and at the time they seemed to be addressing that problem.
Cimarron Trails
Only played it two times in the last two weeks. I felt the course was in excellent shape and the price was unbeatable. Very pleased with the whole transaction.
Give it a shot!
This golf course has great staff and they are very accommodating. I would recommend playing there to any level of golfer. The rates are affordable and the course is well maintained. The tee box options make for an enjoyable or difficult course.

Good course bad timing
The course is fine but they booked our tee time in the middle of an outing and only had cold sandwiches to eat and very few water jugs.
