About
Formerly known as Spring Hill Country Club, Albany Golf & Event Center dates back to 1959. Though the name may have changed, the classic design of the course hasn't. The golf course measures to just over 6,500 yards from the back tees. It may not be a lengthy layout but it's a fun round for beginners and advanced golfers alike, which is why it was chosen as the two-time host to the Oregon Open. The golf course was built on some of the country's most fertile land in a temperate location that allows year-round play. Strategically placed bunkers frame the greens and there are water hazards that come into play on a few holes. One of the most difficult holes, the par-3 17th, is a water hole. There is a lake that runs along the entire right side up to the green, which is also bordered by bunkers to the left.

A great value with fast greens!
Albany Golf and Event Center (Springhill CC) is always fun to play with six par 3s, six par 4s, and six par 5s which allows for scoring opportunities. The greens were terrific and fast for this time of year. The staff was friendly and accommodating. My only suggestion for improvement would be to invest some funds into the bunkers. They aren't great and could use some work.
Greens
The greens were perfect and fast. It was like summer conditions on the greens. Tough !!!
Beautiful course!
This course is awesome. Just a beautiful course and very well maintained. The pro shop has very friendly and helpful employees. Very blessed this course is less than a minute away from my home
Oregon Trip
Visited Eugene from deep South Texas, clubs in tow. GN recommended this course over many courses closer to me in Eugene. The drive was worth the time! Beautiful course, very well maintained, excellent condition!
