The Reserve Vineyards & Golf Club - South Course

Even though the south course was recently aerated, the greens rolled fairly true and faster than expected. Hats off to the grounds crew. Pace of play was a little less than 4 hrs, thanks to the group in front and my playing partners keeping the ball in play. This course is in my top 2 public courses in the metro. Pumpkin Ridge is my 3rd.

The condition of the course for having punched greens, should not be this much! Probably be a while before I come back! And I live close and that makes no sense to charge this amount with the conditions your course is in. You guys can do better!

I've frequented both these courses whenever they're running a deal or in the winter when the rates are reduced. I really wish I could afford to be a member here. The greens are always wonderful, the fairways and rough are well manicured, they take care to mark GURs. The design is wonderful, very getable for all handicaps (pick your tee wisely), yet still challenging.

Started at 1:39 and had to wait EVERY HOLE! At 5:15 and only up to hole 13 with rain rapidly approaching we had to walk off. We had driven 3 hrs one way to play this course that we had enjoyed in the past. The cart gal told us on 12 that all holes ahead of us were full. What a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!

Played the South course with a friend and was paired up with another 2 . Tough course well laid out . GORGEOUS greens , lightening fast . Only complaints were slow play , no sign of drink cart ( finally on back nine ….and it was 95 degrees out )

Only other issue is there is a small walking only bridge over a small creek on the left side of the 17th hole . Don’t try walking over it as it is ready to collapse !!

All in all a great course , highly recommended !

The South course is immaculate. Quick, often elevated greens make it challenging, yet very playable. Also, they make a great cranberry vodka for those who take their golf seriously.

Fast greens wonderful weather and good company sums it up.

Only from the north end and several flights of stairs.

Awesome course. Great condition. Sone fairways are somewhat close together so you may have other players in the way or find yourself in the way of others after bad shots. Restaurant was great. Would recommend. Hope to play the North course soon.

The average time it takes a foursome of amateur golfers is 15min per hole. The United States Golf Association (USGA) provides pace of play guidelines for different numbers of players and par values:

Groups of four: 15 minutes for par 3, 17 minutes for par 4, and 19 minutes for par 5.

So why and the heck are they shuttling guys off every 9 minutes only to wait 5-10min to tee off at every hole?? I understand it’s all about making money, but make it worth our hard earned money please!! This needs to be better!

I have always liked this course and it's been about 7 years since the last time I played it.
