Lost Tracks Golf Club
About
Perfect Central Oregon rolling terrain fashioned into beautiful golf holes by designer Brian Whitcomb. With 7000 yards of breathtaking views and challenging golf shots Lost Tracks Golf Club defines the word golf.
While Lost Tracks Golf Club is located near the city of Bend, it has the feeling of quiet seclusion. The golf course is bordered by national forest land and carved out of a stand of Ponderosa and high desert pine trees with lava rock outcroppings, dotted with sparkling lakes, and seaside sand filled bunkers. Laid out on a softly rolling terrain the old style design, without the long walks between greens and tees, invite the golfer to walk the meticulously groomed and maintained fairways.
Lost Tracks design philosophy did not include a "signature hole" consideration. Many players may consider the 141-yard 16th hole a par 3 island green, with an old railroad dining car for a bridge, to be exactly that. However, with so many gorgeous holes to choose from, we will leave that up to you. Have fun!

Hole 11 @ Lost Tracks Photo submitted by odysseycustom on 05/27/2014
odd place
Seemed an odd set up to me, on the front most holes went left and on the back they went right. Hot day and no water on the course and restrooms were in odd places. Some very scenic holes but only one that was connected to the course theme. Club house very nice with mementos from a Ryder Cup.
Lost at Lost Tracks
This is more of a target course.
Fairways were not well marked. This was a big negative for one of players, as they walked more than rode.
The GPS in our cart showed water on one hole, that wasn’t there..
Course could have been better marked from green to tee. There were several times we were not sure where to go for the next hole.
We pressed the button to print our score, and it did not print.
Awesome
We were two groups. Some had played here before and some had not. We ALL totally enjoyed the experience
Even the thunder and lightning held off!!
Played 18 holes with my 94 year old dad , brother . Nephew and me . Asked the desk person if we could park the golf cart closer to the greens to make it easy for my dad . They said yes any World War II vet can park anywhere . Love this course
Lost Tracks is a worthwhile play.
This was a fun golf course to play. The course itself was in very good condition. Routing is easy to follow and multiple tee choices for all levels of play. LOTS of doglegs, pretty much every hole except par threes. The greens were what I would call average speed. I like them a little faster, but they were consistent and putted true. There is ample landing area for tee shots on all the holes. The par threes all have bailout areas to avoid water hazards if you need them. Friendly staff in the pro shop and the bar area. I would recommend to anyone and will certainly play this course again when I am in the Bend area.
Lost Tracks a little rough!!
Overall the layout is nice beautiful scenery. It would be nice if the driving range had actual greens as targets instead of just a pole. Upon entering the clubhouse I had a conversation regarding my booking. It said cart included which I proceeded to show the middle age lady on my phone that was behind the desk. Instantly she copped an attitude and was down right nasty in my opinion. Enough about her as that is all she deserves. But the younger gentleman who I believe to be in his mid 20's was very helpful. He did his best to make up for her rudeness. The main problem with the actual course was the greens. They had all kinds of problems. On top of a fungus and other stuff they had so many ball Mark's you could never repair them all on a putt of any distance.
slow
Delightful course. Pace of play on the back 9 was ugly. A marshall would have been appreciated
A Bend favorite.
Have played here every year we come to Bend and this year it is in even better shape than usual. Nice variety of holes and tees. My favorite Bend area course.
nice course
great weather
course in good condition
fun course to play without being too difficult.
will be back again and would recommend.
Nice layout, so-so conditions
There are some interesting holes and, in general, this is a challenging track. However, the course is not in the best shape. The cart paths are horribly bumpy. Given that, we pretty much ignored the GPS urging us to “Use the 90° rule”. Greens are excruciatingly slow and the fairways need some TLC.
Hello, Michael. Thank you for reviewing the course. Let us first start by apologizing for the condition of the cart path. Your feedback is important to us, and we are going to escalate your feedback to our team so we can make improvements. We will continue to work towards an excellent experience by using your comment for guidance. Thank you for playing Lost Tracks Golf Club. We hope to see you again soon.
