Lost Tracks Golf Club
About
Perfect Central Oregon rolling terrain fashioned into beautiful golf holes by designer Brian Whitcomb. With 7000 yards of breathtaking views and challenging golf shots Lost Tracks Golf Club defines the word golf.
While Lost Tracks Golf Club is located near the city of Bend, it has the feeling of quiet seclusion. The golf course is bordered by national forest land and carved out of a stand of Ponderosa and high desert pine trees with lava rock outcroppings, dotted with sparkling lakes, and seaside sand filled bunkers. Laid out on a softly rolling terrain the old style design, without the long walks between greens and tees, invite the golfer to walk the meticulously groomed and maintained fairways.
Lost Tracks design philosophy did not include a "signature hole" consideration. Many players may consider the 141-yard 16th hole a par 3 island green, with an old railroad dining car for a bridge, to be exactly that. However, with so many gorgeous holes to choose from, we will leave that up to you. Have fun!

Hole 11 @ Lost Tracks Photo submitted by odysseycustom on 05/27/2014
super day at lost Track!
Couldn't ask for a better day of golf. Beautiful weather and excellent course conditions. Played all 18 in 3 hour and 15 minutes...so play was steady. Will be coming back soon!
Good value for the area
Staff was friendly and helpful. Course was in good shape considering the recent weather.
LOST TRACKS, 2ND TIME!
Outstanding when we played it last year, my 30 year old son and I made sure to include Lost Tracks during our family trip this summer. We had as much fun this year as we did last year! The staff was great, the course was in beautiful shape, nice 4 hour round!
The picture is of their signature hole, a short par three to an island green accessed through a vintage railroad car. Kind of cool!
Outstanding Course and Condition
Lost Tracks has to be one of the more well-cared for facilities in Central Oregon. This marks my 3rd time here and in each case, the course was watered, contained deep green grass with rarely a dead spot and the fairways were cut to near perfection. With our reservation, due to the extreme heat, no one was present on the course but our foursome! We started on a Twilight-Hour Rate and played till dusk and never saw a single player but ourselves. This is rare, but it was a positive experience. I recommend Lost Tracks to anyone who wishes the challenge of facing trees, small lakes, multi-sand trapped greens and even an island green surrounded by water accessed by a old railroad boxcar! At this course, the staff care about presentation and it shows.
Back again
Course was in great shape. Moderately difficult. Hidden pins, false fronts etc. Greens were consistent.
Friendly and attentive staff. Will return again.
Great course
Fun day... Weather was great. Course is in great condition also.
ANother awesome day
Always one of my favorite courses in Bend, Lost Tracks came through again. the course has magnificent views, is in excellent condition, and because the rates are relatively high, it's not very crowded. The pace of play was great. I played around with my 20 something kids--boy and girl--and we got through in a little over 4 hours. Oh, and to top it off the Beverage cart was around often and they make a mean Bloody Mary :-) Like I said...always a favorite and they came through again!!!
Great Course
Overall the course was in really good shape. The greens were kind of slow but in great condition. Fairway excellent, rough fairly long . Great course!
Great course good value
This couse is very nice, great conditions nice views and while there are houses on the course they are not in play. There are a few tough holes with blind shots but otherwise the course is very fair. The starter let us go out as a twosome and start on the 10th hole ( as we were the first group behind the ladies club). They let another twosome go out behind us instead of making us pair up - as a result we played in 3 1/2 hours. There was a foursome of regulars who let us play through on 11 too.
Great course with excellent views
One of my favorite courses but the greens weren't up to par...typically they are very fast and roll well, but not this time...disappointed in that. Otherwise, I love this course!
Good value
Enjoyed this course. Went out on a Saturday . I think there was sone graduation ceremonies the day we played since it was wide open and a good pace of play. Course was in good condition and had some great views of bachelor and the cascades. The cart girl was consistent with her rounds and staff was super friendly, even providing me with a free yardage book since it was my first time playing. Got a good deal on golfnow and jumped on it.
great value
4 hour pace walking. Started at 7:30. Fairways and greens were in great shape.
Fun course
Played here with my buddies for the 1st time after playing 18 at another course in town earlier so we decided to ride. We were greeted promptly. The starter told us to go out and follow a single and his kid playing which we decided to abandon and go start on the back 9 as the single and his young son were taking awhile to get started on the 1st hole. We immediately caught up to a five some (which i thought was odd) and we were stuck behind them for a few holes, but then they let us play around. After that, I noticed another five some so I wasn't to crazy about that, but they didn't bother us so all was good. The course has a nice layout and I thought was a rather easy course to play. There was no water in most of the ponds on the course. Not sure what was up with that but overall it was a fun course and I would gladly come back over and play again.
Lost Tracks worth it
The late fall round was very worth it. I would make it a point to play again net time near Bend
Happy Golfer
Excellent golfing experience--would definitely recommend this course
Ok Course.......... but
We played the course and felt it needed some improvements. First having a more pleasant staff member at the desk, could take her time away from eating to serve the customer , not professional eating at the desk.
Having markers on the fairway for walkers, fine if you are riding a cart, distance is on the cart path, have to guess yardage on fairways.
Holes could be marked more clearly, for direction to next hole. Example 10 &13, we had to head in to the club house and ask where 10 was no signage, Also # 13 came to cross roads no idea which way, right or left so we wandered around an found it finally, however the group ahead went to 15, never seen them after that.
If you are a tourist first time at the course these improvements would be helpful, we would not play this course again, there are better ones to play for the value in the area
Great place to play.
This is one of my favorite courses anywhere. It is not overly difficult, but has many "visual distractions". It always seems to be in great condition, and it has a laid back atmosphere that makes it an enjoyable experience (no matter how badly I'm putting!)
Love this course
Although it was a bit slow this day, we had a good deal on golfnow . Love this course no matter what !
Lost Tracks
I loved the course! Had a great time and the staff and facility was great!
What has happened to this once jewel?
My son and I played both Fri. and Sat. Our Friday time was 3;28, when I checked in I asked if times were on schedule, couldnt get a straight answer, we didnt tee off till 405 , It would have been worse if I hadnt run into the clubhouse asking about the 12 golfers in carts waiting on the 1st tee box, We couldnt use the range as the ball machine was empty, this wasnt mentioned when I paid 6 dollars for token. that was the better of the 2 days, Saturdays t time was 1015 am, but we were called to the 1st tee at 950 and hooked up with another pair, after getting a 2nd cart because the first one died in the 1st fairway, we finished hole 1 only to find 15 golfers on hole # 2 , a 6em a 4some and 5some in front of us,. I called the clubhouse for the 2nd time to ask what was going on, Was only told that there was a marshall out there somewhere.
