Old Back Nine

Have played several times while camping in Bend. Fun course with just the right amount of challenges. Will play here every summer when I vacation in Bend.

I had low expectations for this little 9 holer, but it was nicer than I anticipated. No sand traps, only one forced carry, so pretty easy. Some of the greens seemed new, with almost no grass and very sandy. Overall, a nice walk in the woods.

Golfed with grandchildren, easy enough for them and yet challenging at times. Good laid back atmosphere.

This is really Bend ‘s entry-level golf course so many of the players are new or don’t play much golf, therefore it plays a little slow. This said, the course is in excellent shape. The fairways are all green and well mowed. The greens are rolling nicely. Staff is super friendly, and everyone out there, while a little slow, lol, have a very fun/friendly “Bend-like” attitude .

You dpn't expect it but this was a great tuner course for a guy who never gets to play and is teaching his wife, and we live in Peru..

The guys said we'd be back and we played it 2 more times.

The new greens at the Old Back Nine are in great shape and so is the course. Highly recommend if time limit is an issue about 2 -2 and half hour rounds .

This course is looking good. Nice to see all of the improvements.
