Old Back 9
9 holes, par 36, no sand, some water
3 holes have damaged greens, but they are being worked on
Great layout for a nice walk
Mid July Old Back 9
Course conditions were very good overall. Several greens still recovering from patches of winter fungus. Two temporary greens needed shorter defined cuts.
Should have been FREE!
Two holes had fairway pins because greens were under maintenance, one green had more dirt that grass, all greens were not puttable due to bumps and tall grass.
Great Course, but needs work
I’ve been playing here for eight years, probably 80 times. The course is normally in great condition, but this year, two greens suffered snow, ice, or water damage. For the damage, the price was decreased to $26 per round (walking) from $36. The greens for the two holes with damage were moved back by about 50 yards. The course has one lake shared by two holes. It’s an enjoyable time!
Great layout
For a nine hole course, the layout is very enjoyable. The course winds around a neighborhood and the homeowners are very nice. The course did sustain some winter damage so two holes were shortened and their greens are part of the fairway and not mowed like greens. The normal price has been reduced from $36 to $26 to reflect this issue.
Repairing Greens
The pace was a bit slow but fairly typical for a Sunday morning. The greens are under repair which is a bit disappointing as the extent of the repair wasn't mentioned by clubhouse staff. 2 of the greens were unusable so the flag/cup were cut 50 yards in front of the green in some fairway. Other greens had substantial burn marks with dead grass. I will play again and hope for better conditions but I thought the conditions warranted more of a warning from staffers.
OB9 late June
Generally in good condition. Two temporary greens in fairways should have had a finer cut. Course was clean and free of debris. Adequate ball washers.
Good cheap golf
Some greens were good, others not so much.
Fun, quick 9 hole. Some temp greens, maintenance not great.
Severe Winter Damage on Greens
Had a fun outing but those greens are awful. If the greens were in good shape, which I hear they are in normal years, I would recommend this course. But the about 6 of the greens are unplayable.
Greens are not playable
The greens were in horrible shape. Don’t feel they should be charging full rate until greens are playable. Didn’t get to play one hole because of a water line break. They were not willing to provide and future discount because of these issues
Could be Beautiful
This course has a great layout and could be fun. Unfortunately the greens were diseased and none existent . There were a couple that were great
terrible greens
Safe your money! The greens were all frozen out from winter weather. All were hard pan or very patchy. Within a month, they should be back to normal.
old back 9 mid may
course was in pretty decent condition. greens were recovering from winter fungus and had been sanded and lightly rolled so pretty bad putting conditions. recommend organic fertilize.
Mother's day golf
Great course for a quick nine, it was a long winter so this translates into the greens needing a little more time to green up and be good.
Disappointed
Two weeks ago this course was in great shape but now, most of the greens were pitted and over fertilized. We won’t be going back for awhile…
Sixsome slowed the pace of play
Caught up to a sixsome on the third hole that didn't let us play through. Didn't ask to play through but should not have to after they saw us waiting on every hole. They must have formed up after the first tee.
