Great Course for new golfers!
Beautiful course. Great for new golfers. Perfect for walking! Friendly staff.
Spring opening at The Old Back Nine!
Course conditions good from winter cleanup. Greens have occasional nicklel spot but rolling pretty good. Water needed in ball washers. Some adjacent snow patches but going away quickly. Great to have it open!
Love the OB9
I’ve played at this course once a week for two seasons now. The fairways are deceptively narrow with pine trees, but the lack of bunkers makes up for that.
Very walkable.
Well maintained
Generally friendly service.
Loads of geese, deer, rock chucks, etc.
Never too crowded- probably helps that there are 2 18 hole courses very near by.
Kinda crazy when the miles long train goes by - but it’s all part of the experience and clearly out of the control of the golf course.
You CAN hit over the water on 15, just believe in yourself!
Chill and Challenging
Super chill vibe, no crowd, no rush, nice and quiet.
Course was in good condition. Greens are a bit soft and hold approach shots well.
Greens are true and rolled nicely.
Tee shots from the back tees are narrow. If you can't hit consistent straight off the tee, move up to the next tee box here.
Interesting layout, up and down, slight curves.
Beware the chipmunks! Open food will disappear while you are away from your cart.
Perfect Day
Took my wife for her first-time playing golf. It was the perfect course for us. The fairways are fairly straight with well-designed landscaping. The staff was friendly. The course has a putting green but does not have a driving range - If you want to warm up before a round then head to one of courses down the road. Playing here made for a very enjoyable morning!
Good practice course
This was my second time out this year and the course was perfect to help me get my skills back. We had fun playing the course although it was extremely smokey that day due to fires. We look forward to playing it again when the skies are clear so we can enjoy the views.
It was unusual to play a course that had no bunkers.
We played the womens tees so did not encounter any water hazards and I am happy to say we didn't lose any balls probably because of it.
Course conditions were very good to excellent. Pace of play was timely as we finished (walkers) our round in 2hr. Course marshal checked in a couple of times to assist. Ball washers needing some maintenance.

A wonderful place to get 9 holes in at! As long as the greens keeper isn’t working on every hole you play 😂

Course conditions were fine, not overwatered.. could keep up with the ball washes a little better. Course tendants very accommodating
Great 9-holer
Great little 9-holer and very walkable. Relatively short holes (with a couple of exceptions. Well worth the green fees. Would liked to have played it when there was a front 9. If you're in Bend and have a couple of hours, give it a shor - very enjoyable.
Nice Course!!
Was pleased with this course. I didn’t know what to expect but found it to be in very decent condition and the staff was friendly and very accommodating. The only negative comment I have is that it’s a little pricey for the length and caliber of course it is. No bunkers was surprising. Maybe $25 for 9 holes would attract more customers.
