Forest Hills Golf Course

I played Forrest Hills for the first time today and it was a joy. The weather was just a gorgeous fall day. The golf course was in playable condition. The greens were plugged and sanded a couple of weeks ago (I am guessing) so there were still lots of bumps. The fairways were wet to soggy in numerous places. It was generally in the low spots probably due to a maladjusted watering system. The layout was good., and I appreciated the fact that there was an opportunity to hit quite a few clubs out of my bag.. This course is not particularly long , but it is challenging; particularly if you hit through the fairway (I ended up in tree trouble 3 times) or play the areas outside the fairway. All things considered: it was a great afternoon!

A perfect 10!!!

Course was great. Greens & fairways very good. One major issue. The course allowed member group in front is us to play at a 5 some. This caused extremely slow play & backed the whole course up.

The members in question had 2 chances on par 3’s to let us thru but refused. We reported to the pro shop but they backed their members saying they were within their rights. You may consider this before you book

Nice old school golf course. The greens were pretty fast. The rough is getting quite dry, as just about all the public courses do this time of year. There are some really good holes on this course. The views are great. Helps if you play with someone who knows the course, quite a few places you want to lay up, a few greens you can't go over. GOOD TIME.

This really is a fun course to play. There are water features and good elevation changes and they make the most of the space they have. But the pace of play is grueling and makes the course unplayable for me. So if you don't mind sitting in your cart for long periods of time checking email or chatting with your cart mate it's a fine place to play. This course would be an a plus if they kept the rounds moving and increase the fees a little bit so they could use fewer groups.

Tough green locations, a lot of hills surrounding the greens and the greens themselves slope a lot. So be prepared for a challenge.

I'd like to keep come this course and play if a few dislike would be arranged or modified such as gasoline powered cart to battery powered cart, keep fairway in shape up and better accessible parking lot.

Interesting course with fast greens, many sloped pretty steeply back to front. Several big doglegs. Lots of hardpan on the side of many fairways. We were following a six-some but no marshals (which is usually fine with me).

I golfed here twice and I think I will keep coming back. It is a beautiful course and challenging for the average golfer. The course is well maintained and enjoyable. The staff is friendly every time I go. This will now be my go to course and I would recommend golfing here to anyone!

Fun golf course. I always enjoy playing here. It is overpriced in my opinion. It is close to booking at Pumpkin ridge with a cart sometimes. They keep their prices high pretty close to year round with little relief booking on golf now. It's fun and enjoyable but only a couple times a year. Much better value in the area including Pumpkin, Quail, and even Redtail.

Sad too see this course look so sad. course needs some up keep, there was so much dry patches and some fair ways did not have any grass. Sad, Sad, Sad.
