Greens in excellent condition
I haven't played Glendoveer for several years and was pleasantly surprised at the condition. Greens were in great shape, fairways good. Rough was dry but cut.
For a public course, this was a great choice. Pace of play was somewhat slow on the front but good on the back (after a slow group quit at the turn)
Great off course amenities!!
Check out Von Ebert's, took the place of The Ring Side! And it’s very very good!
Par Excellence!
The course was in excellent condition. The staff was very kind and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed
Comin' Back Again!!
Beautiful course, my mistake for judging it by the photos posted on their website but as soon as I came up to Hole 1, my thoughts changed...West Course was awesome, fairways are wide enough and greens are pretty smooth. Overall course layout was great and I found myself booking again this coming Sunday. Awesome course for sure!!!
Good value for money
I enjoyed a Saturday afternoon round of Golf at this Course.
However from about the 6th Hole, the Group ahead kept the pace of play much slower than anticipated.
At the 10th Hole, they graciously allowed me to play ahead.
Altogether a great Golfing experience.
Thank you very much.
Great Course
They let us start early, which were great, met a great guy from Atlanta. This course is five minute from my house. Thank Golfnow!!!
Played the east course!
Ended up pkaying the east course. The course layout was fun and challenging. Several short par 4s that provides enough of a challenge to keep playing fun. Most of the par 5s were somewhat uphill but manageable and interesting due to the blind second or third shot. Par 3s were average to easy. Pace of play was slow due to the number of people playing that day (weather was fantastic).
Loved the course
Beautiful course, played my best game on the first nine, harder on the back nine.
Nice Saturday Golf with Good Weather
The course is now in pretty good shape with fairway all dry although there are some uneven surfaces after all the rain. Pace of play was a bit slow, but was expected because it was Saturday with nice weather. The greens were fine and I enjoyed playing. I will definitely play again.
I say Glenn is my home course. West is tad easy
We only played the front 9. This side is really flat and easy to walk. It is a little short with driveable par 4 on about 3 holes. It pretty wide open. The back nine is tougher and more sloped and hills. Currently they don’t have have anything in where ringside is but I heard they hAve brewery going in that building. But if your new and really want to wanted play a longer course, Glenn west is a good one to try. The greens well in really good shape(plugged the 4/26) and the grass was very well cut in both the rough and fairway. Sometimes later in the season you will find players don’t do a good job replacing ball marks. But it was awesome value for $15 dollars for 18
The best value
The only thing missing is a place to get hot food.
Course is still wet and soft...
Course is playable with the exceptions of the January weather...Avoided the puddles and muddy spots in the fairways and cart paths...the putting greens are well maintained, no signs of winter damages on any of the 18 holes.
everytime i play this course, i seem to have good luck in shots but not in putting..
i guess the green is tkugher for me than other cpurses i play...
so i want to keep playing more o this course..
i like the course and the staffs
Hadn't played the West side for a long time-was pleasantly surprised how nicely groomed it was. It had some areas on the course that were over watered but we didn't complain too much because there weren't very many brown areas.
