Great 9 Hole Executive Course!
Fantastic course, well maintained, and with friendly employees.
Hole 2, the most difficult hole on the course and arguably the signature hole, was under repair with a temporary green (just a patch of fairway) so that knocked down my ‘conditions’ rating.
Great course overall!
Easy going round…
Don’t be in a rush to play, however it was a nice course. A bit narrow with the houses,, but the course isn’t long, so no need to crush your driver!
Great course to play a regulation 9 holes.
Fairways and Greens are kept in great shape to enjoy playing there.
Great condition
Course is in great condition right now and playing a bit easier than normal due to the dryer and hotter conditions. Greens playing unusually quick. Are in great condition right now.
Very Nice 9-hole Course and layout.
I really enjoy playing here and it’s close to Bethany area. In addition to nice course, they also have practice swinging net setup next to the 1st Tee. And very well maintained green with 8 holes to practice your putting....also next to the 1st Tee. I would get whew early to practice both before the round starts. Highly recommend this course.
A challenging course with LONG holes…
This course surprised me. A 9-hole In the middle of a neighborhood with only one hole less than 300 yards - unless you play the shortest tee. The holes themselves feature a dogleg or two, lots of water features, and even one hole that tees off right over a lake - STEADY!! As long as you hit it straight, you’ll be fine,- but if that’s a struggle, or you don’t hit far, this course will rule you. Well-manicured, with houses on all sides, we did a sunset round and we’re observed by lots of folks having cocktails. No pressure! All in all, a pleasure!
Great balance of value and quality
Claremont, let me count the ways I love thee...
Great value - they have a stamp card now. Play 10, get one free. Want to play a 2nd 9? No problem! If there is space, it’s a mere $10!!! As long as it’s anytime the same day! Unreal! On top of that, very good membership fee if you play frequent enough.
Great conditions - as part of a retirement community that has HOA dues that go into the course, you can be assured maintenance is quite good. Better than others in the area
Great layout - many other retirement neighborhoods have puny, narrow courses. Sure there are houses surrounding many holes, but the course is sufficiently wide and the par 5s are reasonably lengthy.
The staff has even put up to practice cages and the putting area always has folks practicing. As long as everyone treats the course with care, they will continue to allow folks to show up and practice without a tee time.
You can’t ask for a better option in west side suburbia. I’m grateful Claremont exists and hope they will exist for a very long time.
