First Tee / 9th green Photo submitted by RyanBam on 08/17/2020
Nice course, well maintained.
A nice convenient golf course since I live near by. The green has always been maintained nicely. This course made a major improvement for the drainage system last winter, cannot wait to play this winter. Sometimes, you had to stuck at a slow play pace.
Claremont G.C. 7-21-2020 Review
This 9-hole course is in good condition with very nice greens. It is a great place for beginners as the pace of play is not pressing, yet Claremont's layout provides some challenges for even the low handicapper.
Service was terrible
When I booked it online through Golfnow it did not mention it was only 7 holes. There was maintenance on the course but they should have mentioned it online. also while I found that out when i got to the course I could not get my money back and decided to play the 7 holes. I had to walk to the 3rd hole they could have at least provided a shuttle or a cart use. Very disappointed with service.
Great condition. Always fun to play.
I usually play here every other week at most once a week. Great course layout and the greens seem to always be in great condition.
Can be challenging for beginners but fun to play if you like to shape shots, just try not to hit any houses. Caution on the 6th if you hook as a righty, ball will go right into a busy road.
No Cart
Booked on golf now Including power cart then called and learned No cart would be provide and there was no way to cancel or get discount. Spoke with Anthony and nothing was offered as credit .
Hole 9 is closed and not alerted during booking
The course is in good condition, but they closed the ninety hole for renovation, and did not alert us during booking,.
Wet wet wet!
You’ll need Welles to play this course. Standing water on the fairways but greens in surprisingly good shape. Feet were set and cold at the end of this round even using a cart!
nice and beautiful
It is a really nice and beautiful course but still with challenging. I like this course a lot.
Nice time on nice course...
My twosome had a real time on a late November day on this nice course. The course was in real nice condition with the aerated greens almost 100% healed. The pace of play is not something that is a high priority here--e.g. there was no marshal patrolling to keep the patrons moving along at this "casual" facility. Just wish they would add reflective tape to the pins to make range finders easier/faster to use.
Great little tricky course but pace is slow
Great little course with some tricky holes.
Particular like the fact that you need to think about how you are playing and not just bombardment. Only downside is the pace. Don't expect to do 9joles in 1.30-1.45 as it's quite busy and majority is senior players from the community around the course. We got in at 2.15..
Nice residential 9 hole course
Pace of play was very good - walked the course in just over 2 hours. Fairways and greens in good shape for the summer we've had.
Course manager accommodated us by changing our start time to add a third player, but the starter seemed very upset when there was not a fourth player. Almost like he didn't want to let us go.
