Silver Lake Golf Course sits along Staten Island's North Shore, offering a scenic and challenging layout that is one of the five boroughs' best-kept secrets. The course has a classic layout with postage stamp-sized greens and narrow fairways. At just over 6,000 yards from the back tees, the golf course appears shorter than it plays. The tight layout demands accuracy throughout especially on the lengthier holes, of which there are several. The course offers interesting risk-reward opportunities and holes 12 through 14 are considered by locals the "Amen Corner" of the North. The entire layout will test your shot-making abilities. In addition to the challenging round, Silver Lake is known for having consistently excellent conditions with some of New York's best greens, which is why it has garnered a strong following among local players.

Great short course with fun holes
Great course if you like driving greens if you can hit 300+. Staff was friendly and was a great time.

Silverlake course has been in good condition during this pandemic.. unfortunately I had to pay for my 3 some at the course. Because I asked to be credited for 1 member who had to cancel last minute. And I stated that to the online helper. And he cancelled the whole foursome. And it seems that I wasn’t credited the amount?.. Not happy with GolfNow... I’ll have to try and contact them via call, or online support..

OVERPRICED
PAYING $70 IS WAY TOO MUCH CONSIDERING THERE ARE NUMEROUS COURSES WITHING 45 MINUTES FROM WHERE I LIVE CHARGING $30-$50. IN ADDITION, THERE ARE NO LONGER SENIOR RATES AVAILABLE. I HAVE SPOKEN WITH SEVERAL FRIENDS WITH WHOM i GOLF, AND WE ALL AGREE THAT WE WILL NOT BE PLAYING AT THE LAKE UNTIL PRICES ARE REDUCED AND SENIOR RATES RETURN.

Mixed bag
The course conditions were fair but the layout is pretty good and made for a fun day. The amenities don’t make a great first impression but it’s a good value if you live nearby. We did stay and have a hamburger on the veranda after the round and it was excellent with a pretty good view around sunset. Overall satisfied.

Well Worth the Drive for a Drive (off the tee...)
I live in Stamford, CT and a friend who lives in the UES of NYC suggested we go and play this course. The entire staff was really friendly and accommodating. They were able to get us off a little earlier than our scheduled tee time because another group didn't show up. Which was great!
The course was in excellent condition. I was very happy with the tee boxes, the manicured greens, and even the fairways and rough were both cut quite nicely.
I would definitely come back. And would recommend playing this course for beginners to even more advanced.
Great Course
Course is in great condition considering the times. The layout is fun. With both long challenging holes as well as some fun shorter holes. The people are also great with a grill to get something to eat at the turn and when you finish your round. Highly recommend playing this course.
