Why have a phone if you don’t answer it?
These goofballs had a tee time available for 4 with carts then the option disappeared so I tried to call them and see if I could modify my tee time but nobody wants to answer the phone and assist you, course isn’t even anything crazy nice how are you guys too busy to answer the phone? Like is everybody that works there just on the putting green putting around or do they just hate customers?
Terrible condition
I shouldn’t have to walk through the garage for the golf carts in order to use the restroom. Also, I was a single and played 9 holes in 2:30 hours. I left halfway through bc of how long I waited and how atrocious the conditions of the course were. There were noticeable spots of crab grass on the green. Worst $60 of my life
Needs to be better.
This course has the potential to be a top public in the area. Instead it is falling into the worst. It is not maintained well at all. Tee boxes filled with weeds and greens are barely surviving. It’s a shame because with a little love could easily bring it back to its prime condition. Courses layout is fun & challenging.
This place stinks
This course isn’t worth 5$ I wouldn’t play here again if it was the last course on earth they have not moved the pins in about a month there’s weeds growing in the greens. Save ur money and put it towards McDonald’s
Interesting Course
Decent course, but needs some upkeep. I think once upon a time, this was a great course, but they had to change the layout on the front 9 due to a road being built. It is a quirky layout on the front. The back 9 is very good. My overall issue is that the it doesn't look like they have ever pruned any trees on the course except on 18. Some holes are so overgrown you cannot aim for the middle of the fairway. Worth a play, however.
Exceptional golf experience
Melrose CC offer an exceptional golf experience. The course offers a little bit of everything that you need to experience in order to improve you game. It has that membership felling for a public golf course. Unfortunately it is missing the bar and dinning experience after a round. The golf course itself is top in all departments.
Course conditions terrible
Playing a course that charges $62:00 I wouldn’t expect crabgrass in the greens. Some bunkers had no sand in them and the rest were woefully lacking sand. It is obvious management is not putting enough resources in the upkeep of the course and it shows.
