great course for the price
Fun course to play with some challenging shots at times, value was great too and it never seems to expensive to play here. Will 100% be making it back soon.
Terrible greens
Terrible greens. Awful bunkers. Not bad for price.
Great layout good for the average golfer and low handicap player.
Nice but challenging
Had a nice round of golf at Melrose. Used to be. Country club years ago and now open to public. Course is not easy as the course has a natural layout with hills, slopes, etc. and a couple of blind tee shots as well. Would definitely play here again,!
Best course for price
Fun course. Challenging par 3s, score-able par 5s. Great layout & staff.
Glory Days Gone By
Overall this was a great value for the money. It is a bit of a shame to see the remnants of when this course was a bit more grand. The sand traps could double as swimming pools due to lack of drainage. The greens are a hot mess and were recently plugged. And the tree over-growth is a definite issue throughout. It would be great if ownership invested a bit in the course and the off-course amenities but i won't hold my breath. Fun place to play every now and again but nothing special in its current state.
Premium on shot making
This is a challenging course. Lots of OB you don't know is there until you're in it. Lots of blind shots. I had a fun time, but found scoring difficult.
Melrose Golf
The Melrose golf course was in poor condition. The price was too high for such condition. The greens were also in poor condition. The pace was very slow, no marshals. I will not play this course again.
Great local course
In great condition for this early in the year. Some fairways and tee boxes are a bit messy, but you can tell that this course is getting ready for the year.
Also, walk on the weekdays. Super affordable
Nice course layout with good conditions
Played here for the first time today. Like the layout of the course and the variety of height. Greens were thin on grass and lots of sand, and a few tee boxes under work. Overall enjoyed the round for the price , will be coming back

Course needs work, specifically many of the tee boxes and fairways. Although it’s the beginning of the season, hoping the green grass comes in and course is in better shape by end of May. Greens were punched about two weeks ago so that was an issue. The traps were amazing, you would have thought you were playing at a private club. I do really enjoy the course layout, not a long course; however, the greens are very challenging with many undulations and one can see how it was a nice private club many years ago. Had to wait on almost every hole since they are trying to generate revenue so they allow everyone to play. Hoping to try the course again once the conditions improve since as I mentioned a nice layout
