Red/White at Arrowhead Golf Course

Maybe its the time of year, but the greens were very, very slow with the long grass. Lost a ball or two in the fairways that had plenty of leaves.

I'll definitely be back...saved over 50% using GolfNow !

trying to beat rain since I could not cancel or I would lose my greens fees. Playing 2 holes every 15 minutes, course was dead. Rain arrived after 8th hole. Tried waiting out weather at unattended snack shop but it would not let up. Finally drove back to club house since after 9 holes you are not near the club house. Attendant at pro shop gave me a rain check for a future round without a cart !!!! Better than nothing I guess.

Good shape fairly wide open fairways that are mostly pine tree lined usually can find ball under trees..not fancy but fun to play course.great practice green next to 1st tee box

Arrowhead has many mature trees that line the fairways, but they are trimmed so that you are usually able to drive your cart in them to look for your ball.

There are a number of long-ish holes, so be in or near the fairway or you can't make par without a 1-putt. The 248 yard par 3 on the back 9 is tough. Also, there are a number of holes with side hill lies or slopes near the greens, so you need to know where to miss.

The greens were lush, and somewhat slow. They hold fine. You don't need to be afraid give the putt a rap. Traps were okay. Number 9 ends away from the clubhouse, so it's not easily convenient for just 9 holes.

I haven't played here in years mostly because of the guy who followed you around and yell if you got a wheel of the cart of the cart path. Funny now. The staff here now couldn't be ant nicer. The course is in great shape and very reasonable. The greens were slow but well kept. Booked another tee time for tomorrow.

greens and fairways in real good condition. greens were slow, rolled smooth and consistent while holding iron approach shots. played 18 holes in about 3 hours, tee time 11:30am. well woth the money with the Golfnow hot deal rates.

This course is fun and definitely worth the money. The facilities weren't great and there was only a room with vending machines at the turn

Most of the trouble is right in front on you no real hidden surprises except for two holes
# 16 is a "stupid" hole, it does not make sense
but conditions were nice

this course is always fun to play.starts out with 2 par 5's.touigh start. water comes into play on 5 holes on the front 9.back 9 only 1.can bite u if u don't use ur head. I enjoy playing here.

Not a place I would play again mid afternoon to many bugs and pace way to slow

I had not played this course in at least ten years. It was much better than I remembered. The greens were in excellent condition. The fairways and tees were in good shape. The 17th hole is a quirky, not very good hole, but other than that the course is interesting and moderately challenging. There are several hills and some water and a few longer holes to go with the short ones. There is nothing fancy here, but it is an enjoyable course and a very good value.

Coarse is in pretty descent shape but need little maintenance on greens and sand bunkers.

the course was in good shape .its very scenic and very quiet seemed like we were the only ones on the course most of the time .there are many elavation changes that add to the challenge could shorten the 245 yard par three for the average golfer but all and all it was an excellent day on the course really need to keep the ball in the fairway the rough was a little unforgiving

Never really thought about this course before,, Can`t tell you why, just didn`t. But now that I played it, Now that I know it`s not far from my home, I want to tell you ,,,,,,, WHAT A NICE PLACE ! I can`t wait to get back there to play again, The price was reasonable, very fair, I loved the Mom & Pop feel of the club house, it seems like family runs the place and when you walk in for the first time as I did,,, I was welcomed into the family right away, what a gr8 feeling, not something you get from more advertised places, this place was awesome. ya, It`s a different layout, 5- par 5`s,,,,, 5 par 3`s- But the layout has it`s own personality. from the first Tee , I knew I was going to like it. fun, laidback, no pressure, a great place to play. try it once, I`m sure you`ll go back..........

Very nice layout. Player friendly. Greens were in excellent shape. Loved playing with nobody in front, and no one pressing from behind. I will for sure return to play arrowhead again. And how about a 245 yard par 3

the course was in good shape ,overall. the rough was high, I thought. a tough course to play. i'll play it again.

After a whole summer of people playing I was really suprised at how well the greens were. They were very receptive off all shots we played. My main issue was the gnats that are in full force. The final three holes were missery because you dealt with them the whole round. If you can play it when the gnats aren't around I would hightly recommend the course.
