Blue Mountain View Golf Course

Last time I played this course it was like $30 per person, and the conditions were considerably better. If I’m paying just south of $100 for 2 people, I’m expecting that the tee box’s aren’t mostly dirt on half the holes.

I was about to try to complete a round of 74 while on the 15th hole I picked up my ball because of extremely slow play. Seems over 3 and 1/2 hours had passed at that point in my round. I'd driven over an hour to play there.

It became quite clear to me. Accomplished golfers will be punished severely. Hackers, Golfers of limited knowledge and first timers will be rewarded. The power of cash register wins again. Truly, don't ever become good at the game of golf, the USGA will destroy you. Happy Father's Day all you Hackers out there!!

First, course is not currently in GHIN or on the USGA website, so assume it is not currently rated. Greens were fine, but in general course was just fair. Biggest issue was with pro shop, who cancelled my tee time less than 4 hours before arrival. Staff apparently cancelled me when other players with the same tee time cancelled. The pro shop was unwilling to resolve the issue resulting in my spending 45 minutes on chat with GolfNow so as not to lose my money. Per the manager, I could have "just come out and they would have gotten me on", but again, never offered that option by the pro shop attendant. Extremely disappointing customer service.

Tee boxes, fairways & greens good. Cart paths & ponds need a lot of work!

We are just a few days away from significant rainfall in the area... so the day I played, it was a little soggy. The course didn't mandate cart paths only though.

The rough was punishing, hard to see the ball in 3 inch rough... but the fairway... could use a haircut as well. One green looks like it could use a bit of time to recover, bit otherwise the greens were challenging and rolled true.

Staff was very good. No one told us that the greens were just aerated. Other then that it was good.

Fairly new to golf and always looking for a deal. This has been the greatest jewel to date. The conditions were slightly wet despite the perfect weather. All in all I couldn't say anything but good of this course. Greens are recovering perfectly from the aeration. Fairways were clean. ZERO congestion was a single with nobody in front nor behind so pace was exactly what I needed to improve on an even more perfect experience. I will be back!

Ponds needs cleaning. Cart paths need a lot of attention. More ball cleaners needed. Tee boxes, fairways & greens fine. Letting the grass grow in many areas would save a lot on $. Lay out is great but needs much more attention/imagination.

May be biased being from DC where the course fee minimum is $61 for a horrid course but Blue Mountain was a fantastic course and great value at $50 on weekend. 10/10 would play again. Easy green layouts with minimal to no bunkers makes it extremely easy to get GIR on any hole.

Even with all the rain the course was very playable

I really enjoyed my round! Not the toughest or longest course, but not overly easy either. A bunch of short par fours, but the 570 yard par five with a sharp dogleg and tree line on both sides. Several holes over water, a few par threes on the longer side. I definitely enjoyed this place

If I'm not mistaken every part 3 hole All Greens were pitted all up definitely not hitting the ball straight

I know it’s been a tough stretch with no water and higher temps but the greens are horrendous on the back nine except for 10,16 18. At this point they would be more putter friendly if you aerate the bad ones and level with sand. Other than that the staff was great and the pace of play was good.

I would not say don't play here. The greens were lush and rolled true. One or 2 had issues with black mold, but that's not uncommon.

Tee boxes were a mess. Fairways were slightly lower mown than the rough.

I enjoy Blue Mountain. The course set-up balances easier driving holes with challenging sloping greens that test strategy and putting skills. I had one of the best rounds of my life-because I was able to chip and putt well.
