Macoby Run Golf Course

105 minutes of golf before a busy day. Course is in great shape. Beautiful setting. Good value for money. Great staff. If this doesn’t appeal to you then stay in bed.

The greens were aerated and they were very bumpy! The course did not communicate this information either on social media or even at the course!

Course was in excellent shape. Greens had recently been aerated so there were not many players. We never had to wait and no one was ever behind us. Only minor drawback was the cart which struggled to get up hills and which slowed us down on flats. The course is pretty much wide open but fair. Somewhat hilly. Some of the shots are blind but we had a very enjoyable time.

Overall, Macoby is always a 5-star course in my books but I came on the week of aeration so the greens weren’t the best. I also got stuck behind a group, not close enough to pass them but just far enough that they were usually in range. That’s mostly on me for golfing alone as a single and I was in no hurry. But still, Macoby is always great and I can’t wait to come back after my vacation!

I enjoy my round and played with a twosome I previously met. The course was in good shape and the greens ran true.

This was the second time I played Macoby and loved it just as much as my first round there. This time I walked the course which I found out is not for the feint of heart due to the elevation changes between 3,4, and 5, as well as the rest of the course. I still had a great time playing and can’t wait to get back. As far as the course goes for those who haven’t played it, the front 9 is unique and challenging while the back has a more basic layout but still has its challenges with long par 5’s and narrow par 4’s. The greens and fairways were in incredible shape. I highly recommend this course to anyone.

My foursome had a great time playing this wonderful course! Tucked away through a small road of green lane park It does not look like much when you arrive until you get on the first tee and immediately see what’s in store for the day :) A beautiful rolling hills well maintained layout with great views!!. I would rank it among the best in the region for public courses. Greens, tee boxes, and fairways were nicely done. This is a Course that requires you to think twice about what tees you’re playing from because you will be challenged if you make the wrong choice. Only downside of the course is the lack of food options. Only Hot dogs available but plenty of snacks, drinks, and beers. A must play to any golfer who enjoys a solid but fair test of your game.

Course conditions were good. Met some nice guys and had a nice time. Green was honest and true.

Macoby Run is a great golf course. Fairways were in great shape and Greens were immaculate.
